  1. Yamaha is still offering Banshee's Globally. Wouldn't these be 2011 since they are offered in the 2011 line up? Just wondering! Adam
  2. I have questions about this also. I would like to up from the stock motor to something in the 70-80 Hp range on Pump Gas. What is the best way to get in this range? There is a lot of stuff out there that I just do not know about even though I am very handy with a wrench. Are you using Stock Cylinders or are you going with aftermarket? I have seen a lot of posts about the Dune/Play porting being the most versatile. I also read that Aggressive porting will reduce you to mostly dragging, is this fact? 4mil Cranks do not require case trenching from everything that I have seen. Let me know if you have any more information that will help with my goals. Thanks, Adam
  3. I currently also own a 2 into 1 set-up. It was on the bike when I bought it. It has a case of "cant get right" I have tuned and tuned, changed jets, needles, clip positions, everything you can think of I have done it to this system. I called Trinity - No help there, and I still cant get it right. It is dead off the bottom. When the motor starts to turn some RPMs it takes off, but then drops again at high speed. It does not perform correctly. I am going to switch to PWK 35's. In my experience, working at a snow machine shop for 3 years in High School, the Twin 2 strokes run better with a carb per cylinder. It is that case in Snowmachines, and shows here in my Banshee. Unless I am way in left field on the tuning with this.. Adam
  4. Fuel, make sure fuel is flowing to the carbs, take the nut off the bottom of the bowl, Drain some fuel in a drip cup and make sure it flows in, both carbs. Check the plugs, Check the spark. (check the spark with plugs you know fire, not necessary the ones in the machine) If no spark, check connections, check stator, flywheel, make sure key is in Crank, could be sheared and your are 180 degrees out. Check coolant - O-ring blown? Check for leaks at the head Gasket/Base Gasket. Check compression. Really sounds like an an electrical problem or fuel problem. There is like 9 different possible electrical problems. Check to see if on the right side of the air box, your wires hit your pipes and melted them causing a short? Just thinking outside the box here. Adam
  5. I have Vitos in my Banshee, they run well. Price is right too!
