First Off I dont care what you can buy for how much. 2nd I live in coal country, everything is dirty I dont get a hard-on for chrome like some of you bitches 3rd I know plenty about atvs/motorcyclces and mechanics in general Just not this paticular motor I did not build it A set of empty cases sell for 200$ Thanks for the TTTs Ive gotton some calls Also I was "told" it has a straight cut trans as I got an extra stock trans in a bag which is the same info Im passing on to a potential buyer Isnt the 795series wiesicos indicitive of a 421 stroker?   3. Needs a piston and ring.Doesnt sound fucked to me. I guess everytime a piston detonates the motor is Fucked and should be thrown away.Fuck You
  4. I have an 01 421 stroker.Was built by another BHQ member. It has a detonated piston but still ran {not seized} I was told it has straight cut trans It doesnt use the spacer plate,Domes were cut for clearance. K-T Ported cylinders At minimum needs piston and ring or possibly needs a rebuild. I only have the domes for the coolhead you will need the actual head. Crank is a Hot-Rods and again was told it was Trued-Welded Takes the 795 series wiesco's Does not include stator/mag or side covers No carbs-pic in CL ad here http://scranton.craigslist.org/mcy/2847536141.html Pickup Only in Wilkes-Barre Pa 18702 57o-3six2-37eight5
  5. I did not have to modify anything.If I remember correct I did put the spacer cap on the outside of it.6months of use and its still good

  7. Finally got a chance to ride with the Shearers. They pull to the moon.I personally like them alot more than the T5s
  8. When I bought the cool head I was only trying to keep the motor cooler.Added a billet propeller,inline ribbed adaptor thing, and engine ice. Was told they were stock domes.Not really adding any compression. I also have a 421 stroker but detonated the driverside piston.The motor will be down for awhile as I wanna go through it,install it then sell the motor Im currently running.But in the meantime I just wanna ride the smaller motor.   9. Zillafreak: Got an opinion on what size domes.Also are the carbs going to be my limiting factor? I really am shooting for reliability over max power but not happy with it stock. Put the Shearers on today, advanced the timing 4 degrees. No real chance to ride it. My carbs are jetted with what came in the Toomey T5 kit.Is it fair to say I will need to change the jet size?Dont really recall what came with the T5s If so does anyone have a recommendation on where I should start w/the jetting? Topend of the motor is very fresh,maybe 20 hours.I dont want to blow the motor up so any help is appreciated. Thanks

I live up in Northeast Pa or as I like to call it "Coal Country".Planning a Pass for Treverton as Im about an hour and half away.90% wide open short takeoff coal hillclimbs I can trailride it the way it is the other 10% w/the T5s was just curious if the swap to the Shearer's would be worth it Thanks

Got an 03 Banshee w/Unknown port job Fresh .030 Wiesco Pro-lites Cool Head w/stock domes.K&N Airfilter Stock Carbs jetted TORS eliminator.V3 Reeds Basically minor bolt-ons I have a set of T5s on it now and it runs well.I also have a set of Shearer in frame small bore pipes Next mod is advance timing 4deg I do alot of hillclimbing so thats basically what Im setting it up for What say the HQ? T5s or the Shearer
