Back to the drawing board and to see why I'm hanging up on the chassis alot haha

first pic, this is where the rear bracket is suppose to mount up. It sits a little above the mounting hole and to get it to line up you have to pull down on it with a good amount of force. second pic, is there the stinger is suppose to mount up with the exhaust... not really happening lol plus it's riding on the wire harness. third pic, kinda hard to tell without the motor in the chassis but major frame rubbing? maybe i don't have it exactly where it's suppose to build haha

Well mocking them up in the rear it's looking pretty tight and won't bolt up correctly and looking at the dmc site it says it will only fit 89 and newer banshees

Hmmmm???? Then I wonder why they won't fit.... Well at least silencer wise in the back. Maybe if i drop the motor in and get the the pipes on and go from there.

Opps, your right I meant and newer* That's what I was thinking but after looking at some pictures of a A-arm chassis it looks like the rear sub frame may be a tad narrower then the J arm frame? I could be wrong.

Well after buying some 916's i didn't realize the only work on 89 and older banshees any one know why?

I believe it was one that was made to repaint your wheels (custom wheel paint is what the can said i think) i'll look for the can in a few and let you know for sure. I do know for sure i bought it at auto zone and i finished it up with some high temp engine clear

bike I'm building that I rattled canned.

I personally use a paint on all my bikes. I never claim that any of my bikes are show machines but they usually come out decent and if it chips/scratches I just paint it up. Granted I always detail my bikes before and after I ride them which usually lengthens the paints life and keeps it niceish. If you willing to fork over the $$$ powdercoating is always awesome and I'd say last 10x longer then rattle can. In my opinion if your trailing the bike and want to enjoy it on a budget rattle can it and go at it dude. In the end dude its up to you and whatever fits your budget.
