Finally got around to doing this, my new battery powers a standard H6M bulb hooked directly to the battery, the old one doesn't do anything so looks like you were dead on the money!

Zip tied the ballasts to the behind radiator mount, I didn't feel like going through the hassle of removing it so I figured I would put it to some good use.
Battery seems to be charging just fine!

I decided to make this battery box a little bit easier to take off the battery retainer, I used an internal lock washer stacked on an external lock washer with a washer and wing nut on the top. Resulting in me being able to tighten the wing nut with out using wrenches in a tight spot.

01, had a aftermarket VP44 pump it had too much powa!!!
The 06 I'm not picky on where I get fuel and I don't use additives, however this is your field of expertise what do I need to start doing as preventative maintenance?

Out of the 3 Cummins I've had I've never had a problem with injectors. My '94 had 700,000 miles, '01 had 174,000 miles, and my current '06 has 123,000 miles

I ran the stock stroke hard core mx port back in '11, it was a badass job, the quad had tons of power. This work not so much looks like he forgot to finish the job. I'd send him a link to this thread to see what his response is
