    Im pretty sure its a spark arester thats needed. Not a noise level issue. They only look for some kind of screen in the end of the pipe.

    vise grips will work fine, clamp em on tight and bend the tabs back out untill they fit.

    grind off some of the shock eyelets untill it goes in.

    didnt you say they were blaster shocks ? measure the width of the eyelet on the stock ones you have .

    ill swap you , mine are stock. i use the shorter ones for flattrack.

    Mask off the area as mentioned before then ose some Aircraft Stripper / autozone. Brush on the area and powder will come off. Just protect any other powder/ paint. I blasted the hell out of mine, with straight sand and my vin was still there. Mine may have been stamped deeper,but its worth finding out.

    just rob the parts off a Warrior and adapt it to yours, or get a /make a two way shifter .

    use a sharpie to sketch the design . it wipes off easilly with any paint thinner, so you can change or start over as much as you like untill you get it how you want . i use a portable grinder with a cut off wheel . then clean the edges up with a file , and some sand paper. take your time , you cant put it back on ! lol.

    Looks to me that someone did some grinding on the connecting rod also. Maybe for clearance?

    They do have powder that looks just like chrome. Id go that route if it were me. Prob cheaper also.

    id drill the hole bigger and weld in some round pipe , then re tap it for your new bolt . weld it on both sides , in / out .

    Im in the process of buying a swaybar off a freind. He got it used and doesnt know anything about it. It is black and has a big Elka sticker on it. I just wondered if anybody has ever heard of Elka making a sway bar or someone just slapped a sticker on it?
