  1. Stay stock length size for swingarm. Obviously get a roundhouse swingarm. Stock is junk. Roundhouse carrier is tits if you have not had one before Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Phone auto corrected. I was trying to say yours is a mx build? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. IMO I would get your frame work done and assemble yourself. Save money and you know every part is greased like it should be. You'll know that all bolts are tight Ect. Motor size doesn't make your build a different one. A build is a build. I have recently got some fireball stuff lately I was very impressed with their work. Stage 5 elkas are great shocks along with some others like fox Ect. Just make sure it's setup for your weight and what your doing. Even when the shocks are setup for your weight if you choose elka for a example, your gonna have to adjust the collars down to your liking. Your doing a cover build? Your gonna want to stay stock length or -1
  4. Kompulsive concepts ( Cory Kennedy) is your man for a custom harness, he has key relocation brackets as well. JDS customs has brackets too
  5. Your going to have to lower the pedal a little bit. Nothing crazy though. The pedal is going to press up against the cover and overtime will wear it out and destroy the cover. I used a peice of gas line, cut it in the middle to go over the top of the pedal where it hits the cover. One zip tie on each end to hold in place. Has worked great for me over the years. No bending of pedal
  6. What is your budget exactly? You may have to spend a little more then what you would like so months down the road your not making the same thread again. ( which is why I say when your gonna upgrade the motor go big). Go at least 4 mil and go serval or driveline cylinders. Make sure they are ported. Do you want to use your stock carbs? Well might have to sell those to help get some bigger ones. Like others said do a promod trans while your down there and you may need a lockout. Adds up quicker then you think huh? Something else you may want to keep in mind is fuel consumption a issue? Which there is some solutions to help aid that but when you make more power it's going to use more fuel.
  7. That's not too bad. That's almost 4000 miles. My round trip was like 36xx miles. I've gone 2 years In a row. Best ride you'll attend
  8. Are you sand dune riding or dirt trail riding? Do you think your clutch cover is from your riding boot rubbing against it? Of course the bikes are going to get dirty from riding but your cylinder head looking sand blasted seems like to me that your riding behind someone close and getting roosted by sand. IMO I think that's what's going on. If your not gonna lead the pack try staying to the left or right a few feet to try to avoid the roost. My cylinder and head have been polished and cleared and still look like the day I got them years ago
  9. Your right and the pipes as well will get dented. Keep your distance and keep things nice. You shouldn't have any problem catching up if need be
  10. The motor doesn't get too much debris unless someone is roosting you from the side or your following too close in which the pipes will get dented from rocks first. Odds are if he's spending all this time on making the motor look good then he's probably going to get some nice pipes which I highly doubt he wants to wreck them
  11. First mistake was getting too big of a carb. See if someone on the forum is willing to trade. Going to need the right intakes as well. Athena cylinders are not the best choice IMO
  12. To show ownership. It also will have a higher resale value if you sell it. At least that's how it is around here. Another option the OP has is if the bike is a really good bike and the title is the only concern he can simply get a frame with a title and swap it out then sell the other frame. Never a bad idea to completey go over the bike as you will find any possible hidden issues and make sure it's a solid reliable bike
  13. Does JDS customs make these? I know he made some similar things, light brackets for an example
  14. I 2nd this. Got parts just as described. Thankyou!
  15. Parts came just as described. Good communication and good shipping. Thanks bud.
  16. You'll like it for sure. Now the question is what are you going to do about the up keep of the pipes when woods riding it?
  17. Smart man. Take you time but hurry up haha. Your trail (woods) riding this motor I'm assuming? I think I might of asked you this question awhile ago
  18. Like title says I'm looking for a stock length roundhouse carrier swingarm. No junk! What do you got? Would prefer one with skid plate tabs. Lmk!
