  1. are your slides grabbing a lil? maybe the vibration gets them back into place. i could be totally wrong though. leakdown test done?
  2. i didnt rough up nothing. just cleaned it good then applied 2-3 coats. i was going from gray to blue so it needed more coats. haha i might respray them again soon to get a fuller coat on and clean up some spots from when tipped it over about a month ago. do at least 2 coats. really go by look though. do more coats as to your liking. your gonna need like 3 cans to do front/ back plastics and underneath them too.
  3. strength comes in cycles. from some perspective usually when you weigh more you can lift more but its not always the case. there is alot of other factors that will determine strength for the day you lift your best. alot of it is mental. yea def bro. i have a lil bit of tennis elbow/tricep strain going on right now and it sucks.down on strength big time. i never made it past 180lbs. metablism is pretty high. i was like 130 before i started working out. this year ive hit a all time high in strength though while staying at 175ish about 2 months ago.. flat bench was 315x 6 all me with a lift off in the beginning. 335x4 with a tiny bit of help at sticking point. flat flys with 110's x 5. 405lb deadlift raw. seated overhead tri press 175x4. barbell shoulder press 225x 2. best weighted dips i ever did years ago was bw+4 plates for 2. went from 12.5-13" starting guns to 17.5 at my best bulk while keeping a 33" waist line and staying lean all from the one program that i still continue to use to this day. injuries suck and ive had plenty let me know if u want some info about natural bodybuilding/weight lifting. im pretty knowledgeable on the subject and im sure i could get you into a better workout routine if your open minded to hearing me out
  4. 5'8 175lbs 100% natural. no creatine and no supplements. only take a one a day for men and vitamin c. 5-6 meals a day 2-4 spread. lots of weights and cardio. i eat alot of red meat and a gallon of water a day, extremely clean diet due to food allgeries. basically a body builders life style. i havnt been consistent in the gym last couple months. been working out for 8-9 years first pic was on a short cut a few years ago back shot with no tan last year may 18,2012 bahamas
  5. easy with them main jets bro! i have a 4 mil dune port shee on pods and drag pipes and im running 340 and that might be a lil fat. shouldnt be any higher then 330 on stock carbs with a port job. forget the stage 3 port job. send them to a site sponsor and tell them what you want the bike to do and they will hook you up with a nice port job and they will tell u the jetting. true and weld the crank for sure. pilots will be 27.5

  7. How's your spark? Was it sitting for awhile and how long? If u have stock carbs make sure the choke tube between the 2 carbs is connected good. That can make cold starting a real bitch or not even start

  10. Well to each his own. Do as you please. Sure ill stop next time as long as your paying the ticket. I'm not driving like a ass on the street. I don't get on the pipe. Just going to a trail. Not speeding or anything. There is a lot worse stuff going on then some person riding to get to a trail. Like I said I usually take the shee in the truck so I don't ride.much on the street anymore. Just saying. Sure street riding is illegall . Have u ever went over the speed limit in your car? Yea that's illegal too. Even 5mph over is.
  11. i just run now if i see them. im not getting another ticket or possibly taking my bike away. fuck that. i do try to load the shee in the truck more often though but sometimes i just dont feel like doing it and need a nice street ride. fight the ticket. ususally it gets cut in half
  12. x2 on the build. like the others said get the engine working good first and make sure you have no air leaks. you can buy a leakdown tester here http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=154986 i still have to replace my swingarm bearings haha but the most important thing is the engine! also i highly suggest getting a case saver. TM designs makes the best one on the market. and welcome to the addiction!
  13. Larryshee Excellent tip on the tors. I believe I did the same after I made it flat. Also be sure to tighten that lock nut on really good when u find a good idle speed. I just had mine idling in my drive way and it came loose and feel out. Lucky I wasn't going anywhere. Use a socket and tighten tje nut. It may turn the idle up a lil but the nut won't come off. Hold nut with small wrench and use the flat head to unscrew to correct idle speed. Use a sync toll to get it dead on for both sides .

  15. Before painting the pipes u might wanna consider getting some "pipe gel" . You can get it from www.proclean-racingusa.com
  16. Unplug all the tors stuff. Brain cables ect. Take your time doing drilling and tapping. Use a lot of lube when tapping the carbs for the idle screws. I put a thick towel in the middle of the carbs so when your drilling it you wont damage the other side of the carb also it will catch a lot of the drilling pieces that could get into the carb. Make sure to use compressed air and clean the carbs good after. Your gonna have to put almost all the idle screw in to get a good set idle.
  17. Make sure the correct carb bowl is on the correct carb. The choke side carb fuel bowl should have a lil brass ball on it
  18. Spray paint the plastics with krylon fusion spray paint. That's what I did with mine. Mine were originally gray. I didn't do any prep work at all except wash them to get all mud off and they came out good. Not like showroom paint job but they come out pretty nice . Just go slow and try to make the coats as even as possible. I think I used like 4 cans.... 20 bucks and u.better keep the shee for yourself if u don't have one already . If u do then yea I guess she can have that one as long as she's a good gf lol
  19. 120ish on a new build. Anything 95 or lower get a new top end. Pipe depends on what you want the bike to do. I had fmf fattys on mine and it great in the trials. I recently just got shearer's . A lil less on bottom but a lot more on top with the shearers. You have to pick and choose on riding style. I personally like the more faster pase trials where I go wot a lot so I wanted more top end pull. Going 4 mil and porting it will add a lot more power everywhere. You'll have better low end with a 4 mil over stock stroke

  21. Stock jetting is 200 mains, 25 pilots and needle on middle clip. Airbox lid on with snorkel. First thing I would do mod wise is get pipes on here. Get pods or run airbox with no lid and k&n air filter. Jet according to mods. Also get an adjustable timing plate and put it at +4. You'll be good for awhile with that setup. Once your top end goes go 4 mil and port it. Or higher depending on what you want to do with the bike and the area you ride in
