  1. with show chrome..... those look great loco. i was thinking of getting a .190. they are the strongest ones right?
  2. Nice. Yea just like that or more chrome looking if possible
  3. Yea i was looking on rockymountain last night. Are itp rims crap? They have the polished look that I want
  4. Yea i was looking on rockymountain last night. Are itp rims crap? They have the polished look that I want
  5. I run 32:1. Safe spot. Not too much not too little. That's the ratio I've always used in all my 2 strokes I had. Use Photobucket to upload pics or just email me them. Email is Lifefitness1021@aol.com
  6. I am looking for fronts and rears guys. I kind of want polished rims. Do hypers have a polished look?
  7. i would like some suggestions on a good tire combo. i was thinking either holeshots or razr. i want good grip and that wont wear out too fast. also some feedback on size. is a rim thats .190 a stronger rim then a .160 as an example? i need the rim to last . how about tire size? a bigger one better for better traction? a bigger tire will help with ground clearance i know that. does a small size tire grip better? im not righting dunes. just trails, powerlines, gavel, dirt ect.
  8. his elevation is 900 ft and 70 temp i got the info from kev at hjr. im at the same sea level as dozer and he said 330 mains. i was running 370s and he said that i was pig rich. i was just suggesting that he might be a hair rich. sorry for the miscommunication. i do agree that since the plugs look good with his 350's he should stick with it. what i am saying is he could try a size down and or 2 and see how it looks. might get a lil better performance out of it. dozer do u have pics of the plugs? i would like to see them just to make sure. not doubting you but another eye is always good. from all the set ups ive seen that was ported on this forum seems like alot of people with stock carbs was running 330s. do as you please but i dunno i get the feeling that you may have a small or slight air leak. i could be wrong though. just looking out for the best interest of your guys motors
  9. nice job on ditching the boost bottle. they have been know to crack intake boots over time. have you tried plug chopping with 340s or 330s? i would give these two a try and see what the plug chops reads. you may be a lil bit richer then need be. i was going to go with 330's but i went up one due to the pipes i got and the port job
  10. i have kevins 4 mil dune port. kick ass set up! jetting is 330 mains in stock carbs
  11. Is the engine ported at all? 350 is pig rich. A ported 4 mil should take 330-340 tops. I would highly suggest doing a leak down test. I believe you have a air leak since you have to use such big jets. I was in the same boat before. Glad its running good according to plug chop but air leaks get worse over time
  12. if thats was true which it isnt... i would love to test ride one. i would be scared as shit but fuck yea! it would be the best powerband in my life i ever experienced. BRRAPPPP!!!!!
  13. wait i thought u said u just bought that 2001? you have a 06 also?
  14. did u do a plug chop to verify that the bike is running lean? 290 should be just fine with airbox lid off and after market air filter. it sounds like you have a leak if the plug chop says its lean. 310's are usually used when u have pods and the engine is not ported depending on elevation.
  15. so will we be seeing a for sale thread on your shearer pipes then?? i have a 4 mil dune port and i love the shearers. they pull and rev to the moon! shees dont have good bottom end anyway. they produce their h.p. through high rpm. why not make what they are good at even better? learn to ride on the pipe haha im jk bro to each his own but i love my shearers!
  16. kick ass! this will be a excellent pinned thread on the site
  17. if cutting it doesnt solve it start with new plug caps first. very cheap and may solve the problem before buying any unnecessary parts
  18. bad one ton, if you have not bought a crank yet i would highly suggest getting a 4 mil crank thats true and welded. even if you dont port the cylinders thats fine cuz when the time comes that you want to get more out of the engine you got the crank so your good. trust me it will def be worth it
  19. how where they compared to stock carbs? was the top end alot better with the 34's? is so how much would you say? a much bigger and stronger powerband?
  20. what do you mean they were a bit too much? hows the low end on 34's compared to stock? curious cuz i have a dune ported 4 mil. i know the bigger the carb the more top end.
  21. bike looks ahell alot better! nice job bro. sorry to hear about the reck.
  22. well congrats on the bike. get pipes, take air box lid and snorkel off, throw a k&n clamp on air filter in there. put timing at +4 degrees, throw some 280 mains and 27.5 pilots in there and you will be good for awhile. it will def wake up the bike alot
