I think it would work better if you gave it more air. Youre giving it more fuel by increasing jet size, its going to need more air as well.

You may also want to check the reeds, they have given me trouble before. Even if the reeds look good, swap them anyway. I have purchased brand new reeds and once installed the left cylinder was not getting air. I swapped the reeds and the problem followed to the other side. Just saying....thats one more thing to check.

google search honda bolt pattern templates, then all you do is print it out, line it up on the rim and drill new holes.

The problem I had showed no obvious issues, it seems the reeds were harder to open than the other cage therefore not enough air was going through.

You should be able to find firewood at some gas stations in the area. Be ready for boarder patrol check points, dont pick up hitch hickers. Bring lots of tools. You're going to have a blast.
