  1. hmm strange... I stand corrected. The guy that I got my banshee from had T5's and when the T6's came out he assumed newer is better, so he called Toomey and they traded his head pipes & $100 for T6's, and that was all he sent in.
  2. Expansion chambers are all you need to switch... mid pipes and silencers are the same
  3. Go lawn mower racing... would definitely be a head turner if you could keep the entire motor under the hood and watch people freak out when you start it up.
  4. They must be damn good... I mean they got an oversized crankshaft in the head and polished the ports.
  5. a few guys on the 450R forum have been getting them... seems to be some issues with the bushings but Alba is doing everything to make it right http://www.trx450r.org/forum/94-suspension-chassis-drivetrain/197445-thoughts-these-arms.html
  6. If you never leave the family farm & it is the only Banshee around... I guess it is the fastest one haha
  7. Price is in the thread title... how about reading the post??????????????????
  8. I have a pair of Sand Stars but they are for a 10" rim... I don't have any rims for them though... make me an offer will be about $35-$45 to ship
  9. If one of those guys buys just the silencers... how much for just the expansion chambers?
  10. As far as I know, Arizona is the only state that allows the registration and use of ATV's, Golf Carts, UTV's, Sand Rails, for on road use... Sand Rails may get a full size plate if they are over 1800 lbs, but everything else gets a Motorcycle plate & is registered as such. I know there are other cities across America that allow ORV's to obtain some sort of registration, and operate on the street, but just no place like AZ. As far as the license... since the US sees everything with more than 3 wheels as an automobile, then that is the only license you need.
  11. I have my 450R street legal in Tucson. All they required me to do is install a left hand mirror, electric horn, and lighted license plate. Now if your banshee is older you will need to get everything off of a newer one, so you have the brake light. DOT tires are "required" but as long as you have street tires you won't get messed with, and I even see guys riding on knobbys all the time. I didn't have to do any emissions tests or inspections but that may be because I bought my 450 new... I'm not sure.
  12. pictures would be helpful, but you could cut the mounts off the bar at the bike and put a plug in the tube, drill & tap it, and put some heims in there.
  13. loctite... and once you get the axle nuts tight wrap them with electrical tape... and that's exactly what those cotter pins are for. are your splines on the axle messed up at all?
  14. I need some, but am in Tucson... will be in Glamis next week if you are going to be out there.
  15. The "X" "O" "Z" ring chain referres to the rubber ring in each link. If you take the ring out and cut it and look at the end of the cut it will have that shape "O" "X" "Z". I personally like X ring , but have heard good things about the Z ring chains too... they do a better job and keeping dirt and crap out of the chain as well as keeping lube in.
  16. IMS Roll Designs is probably what you are looking for

Good seller, threw in extras and had great communication.
  18. about the only way to do it right is with a hot knife.
  19. shouldn't happen on new reeds, but if you pull the carbs to clean them or anything, you could just shine a flashlight in there and take a peek to see if they are sealing all the way
  20. We went through this issue over and over again a couple years back at the dunes and it turned out that the corners of the reeds were rolling up.

Not sure if I ever left any feed back or not, but I also got some parts off him and everything went great... would definitely buy from again (once I have 50 posts)
  22. I hope you aren't in a hurry... have heard that Burgard makes a great product but his shipping and customer service leaves something to be desired.
