Never had a problem with mine. Use a piece of 1 1/4 PVC pipe to drive the lock rings on. Works like a charm.

Just put a Holley on it and be done with it. 650 double pumper would probably be just right.

We are also a Ram Mount distributor. I have used a Ram Mount to mount my GPS on my Banshee and have also used them in my boat. Very durable and well engineered.
