  1. coolhead with stroker domes as well
  2. I just did a major overhaul on my banshee. 4mil stroker, lightened flywheel, flotek aggressive trail port, and timing plate. I set the timing plate on +2. But everyone seems to be going +4 with them. So what I want to know is should I go back in and change it to +4 ? And also what should I set my pickup gap at?
  3. No just thought it would be a little bigger than that
  4. dose it make a diff if you have a coolhead and diff domes
  5. wow i thought it might be more. that sucks lol. thanks for the info
  6. with a 4 mil stroker boared 40 over what would my cc's be??
  7. Well if it robs hp it’s gone. I will get an intake I guess. Thanks for the info
  8. I see lots of people talking about boost bottles. People telling people that they are junk. Not to use them. No you won’t see a big power gain. But all the little things add up. And a boost bottle is more about making the engine more efficient with smother throttle response All 2 stroke engines without a reed valve will end up forcing mixture back into the carburetor during part of piston's cycle. Since this mixture will be sucked back into the engine during the next cycle this fuel is not lost, but since it passed the carburetors needle twice (or even three times) this mixture will contain far too much fuel to burn correctly. The rich condition which results from this is very minor and will not damage the engine or foul a plug, but it will decrease the performance of the engine slightly. A boost bottle is supposed to fix this problem by catching some of the mixture backwash of the engine before it makes it to the carburetor’s needle and then release it during the next cycle. By ensuring a consistent mixture ratio, the boost bottle should improve performance and fuel economy
  9. Thanks for the good info. Nice to get a straight answer. And for the record i spent a month reading posts on this site Before i posted anything at all. Was just looking for more to the point info about MY mods and setup. It may have been a bad title choice but it did draw a lot of attention

  12. Does anyone use pro circuit pipes? I’m using them with the 304 mufflers. I love the sound sounds like a street bike or something .but are those pipes or mufflers holding me back. Exhaust flow wise. All in all just wanted your thoughts on them thanks
  13. Well sometimes it will be on a real asphalt 1/4 but also we have one marked out on a back road we use all the time.

  15. Ok let’s try this again. I am building a banshee for the trails, but plan to try and drag race at near buy 1/4 mile. I started with a 2002 banshee with t5 kit. Installed a 4mil stroker kit. Sent jugs away to FLOTEK. They are also doing my flywheel and a cool head with stroker domes. I have an adjustable timing plate. And a heavy duty clutch kit. The cylinders are bored 40 over. Pro flow 2 in 1 air setup with k&n reed spacers and boyesen pro stock reeds. I have pro circuit platinum pipes. And also t5s I have an extended +3 swing arm. And a set of razr tt 18 10 10 tires. How do you think i will do on 1/4 mile? What should i shoot for, or look for speed and times wise. What sprocket combo could i use when on the 1/4? Any info will be heard Please lay off on the spelling shit tried to make this one better.
