  1. 1. Tires (stock suck) 2. Pipes 3. Advaced timing 4. K&N 5. Cool head or Noss head Now eveyone is going to have their own personal preffrences. Those above are just mine.
  2. Thanks man! I try to ship them the same day that I get payment. Glad you like it. It's a simple cheap item that people really seem to like.
  3. Thanks so much for the offer man! I PM'd you! UPDATE!! I just may have got it!!! I took a buddy of mines advice and cleaned all the lube off the slides (they slide in and out a lot better with them dry) and while I was at it I cleaned everything else really good with carb cleaner and scotchbrite for like the 4th time. I also noticed the throttle cables that connect to the slides were slightly bent. These are the short 3 or 4 inch cables that connect the slides to the TORS tops. I straightened those out the best I could and put it all back together and it seems to be running great. I've tested it 3 or 4 times and even hooked the TORS back up (wouldn't run with it hooked up before because it was doing it's job and killing it with the slides sticking) and it runs great. I'm going to get it out tomorrow and see if I've got lucky for once and got it going. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!
  4. NO. I've got one that came on my bike and it's gone as soon as I get a crossover tube. They're garbage.
  5. Yea, the Dynojet needles didn't help. I do have a little slack in the throttle cable. I actually took off the sides of the tors tops where you connect the throttle cable and fired it up just to make sure it wasn't the new throttle cable pinched or something. When it sticks the throttle cable slacks up so it's definetly down in the carbs somewhere. Does this sound like a lean problem possibly? 320 mains, 27.5 air screws turned 1.5 out from in. I really don't think it is but at this point I really don't know what the problem is.
  6. Yea, I did this last night. I found a small burr in the long groove on the side that was sticking and I thought that I'd found the problem but that wasn't it. I'm going to see about using a really fine scotch brite and cleaing down in the carbs. Maybe it's something in there.
  7. Not the throttle cable. Just put a brand new one in and it's still doing it. Is it common for the springs to go bad? I'll do whatever it takes to fix this stupid thing. I've already dropped close to $50 in trying to fix it. So far I've -replaced throttle cable with a new one -cleaned, cleaned and cleaned the carbs, slides and everthing time and time again -lubed cable and slides -checked to make sure needles were straight and they are perfect -check the intake boots for cracks which there aren't any -made sure slides are in right Why would it only stick with the bike running???? If it was a bad cable, a weak spring, a dirty or backwards slide wouldn't it stick with the bike off? I can see the slides functioning perfect with the bike off but as soon as I fire it up they start sticking. This sucks! I want to ride so bad and all I can do is keep taking this bike apart over and over again.
  8. Well, the throttle cable seemed fine when I had it out. I bought some cable lube and lubed it up real good. The needles are perfectly straight. No cracks in any rubber boots, no air leaks anywhere. So I put it all back together. Fired it up and it still does the exact same thing. All my friends still say throttle cable but my cable slides silky smooth. I'm going to try one just for the heck of it.
  9. When I got the bike it had a Dynojet kit in it. I just put stock back in it because I don't see the point of a "Jet kit."
  10. The slides are in right. I really don't see how you could put them in backwards. I just line up the long groove in the slide with the protruding tab down in the carb. It sounds like a lot of people are leaning towards throttle cable. I hope that's all it is..
  11. The bike is an 04 and it's all stock parts. So everything is about 4 years old.
  12. OK, not the ones above the main jets. Those are actually brass colored and bigger than these two. Are there any washers that go above the needle clip? For some reason I thought that once you put your needle in the slide maybe these washers go over the needle before you bolt the stop on.
  13. It's not the ones on the bowl. I'm going to look inside where the main jets are to see if they're missing. What problems will this cause if they are missing?
  14. No it's not pinched anywhere and it works fine with the motor off. It only sticks while running. I just took it all apart all the way down to the reeds. The intake boots look good with no cracks. The rubber boots between the air box and carb are perfect. I've got the throttle cable out too so I'll just replace it and keep my fingers crossed. This sucks not knowing what is causing the problem. Does anyone think it could be anything to do with the timing plate that I just installed? I know that pickup has to be fairly close to the raised sections on the flywheel. I got them as close as possible without touching.
  15. That's going to be my next move unless someone else is certain that it may be something else. All I know is my 13 year old nephew is really looking forward to a ride I promised to take him on next Wednesday so I want to fix it asap.
  16. Next time I'm doing one thing at a time. LOL, I don't know if it could be something with the timing plate, the needles, the jets or maybe a twisted the throttle cables too much while messing with them. I do know that where the throttle cable splits from one to two it came out. I just put the throttle cable back into the boot on the splitter.
  17. Do these look like the ones that go in above the main jet?
  18. Both. It happens as soon as I fire it up and doesn't stop even after it's warm. The throttle sticks wide open too very often. A few times I had to hit the kill switch to stop it. I'm uploading a video of it now to help show what I'm talking about. I'll post it here in a few minutes once it's uploaded.
  19. I've searched and searched and tried everything I can think of. So here's what's going on. If I give the bike a little gas the idle won't come back down. If I give it a bit more the rpms go up and yet again it doesn't come down. But as soon as I give it a good quick rev it comes right back down as it should. So the first thing I thought was the slides were sticking. So I took the carbs apart, cleaned the heck out of them with carb cleaner and a rag, put a light coat of grease on the slides and put the bike back together. But it's still doing the same thing. The bike wasn't doing this before I did the following. (I did all of this while it was apart for a few days) -Installed CPI inframes -320 mains -27.5 pilots -air srews 1.5 turns out -installed adjustable timing plate set at +4 -removed dynojet needles and put stock needles back in -installed K&N and removed lid If I take the filter off and look down at the slides and work the throttle the slides go up and down just like they should. Absolutley NO sticking at all with even the slightest movement. But as soon as I start the bike and give it just a little gas the sticking begins. I don't really know where to start since I've already claened the slides real good. I could be wrong, but if the throttle cable was frayed or binding it shouldn't matter if the bike is running or not. I started thinking the stock needles may be bent but I looked closely and they don't seem to be bent. And there's no air leaks anywhere that I can find so I don't think that's it. I'm lost??? LOL
  20. When I bought my Banshee it had a Dynojet jet kit in it. The seller gave me a can with the stock needles, stocks jets and it also had these two very small thin washers in it. I can't figure out where they came from or where they go. I tried my best to take a picture of them. Here's the best shot I could get. This is one next to a quarter so you can ge and idea on what size they are. They are about half as thick as a quarter too.
  21. The blocks on top of the carbs will have to stay unless you get the kit. If you get the kit make sure you get the complete kit to drill and tap the carbs for the idles screws. Yes, you can unplug everything but no you can't remove the tops without the kit with new caps. My 13 year old nephew rides my Banshee every now and then so when he rides it or anyone else that I don't feel would know what to do if the throttle stuck then I plug it back in.
  22. Yea, that's what I did. I unplugged the box under the tank on the left hand side.
  23. My old 96 Noma that I sold in January. I built the entire truck myself in my shop. Suicide doors, shaved, 450hp sbc, 22/20, body dropped and SOOOOOOOO much more...
  24. Well, I've destroyed yet another phone! This one dropped in a puddle of water when I got out of my truck at work! I went down to Verizon to see about a new phone and they want an arm and leg for a phone if I don't renew my contract with them. So I'm going to see if I can't find someone who has a Verizon phone online for sale. I had a Motorolla V3 Razor and it was ok. I'd love to get another LG phone if anyone has one. Let me know what you have..
