  1. use starting fluid. BE CAREFUL! A little goes a LOOOOOONNNNNGGGG way! ha ha check it out Be ready with the air, the fluid burns in the tire and will suck it back off the bead....
  2. My fast trekker were SCARY to seat. I had to take them up to nearly 70 psi for them to pop on and seat. When you do it, put dish soap on the center of the rim with a towel. Avoid getting it on where the tire seats because that only helps the tire come back off instead of seating. It's not really hard after you get the tire on the rim. It's just seeing how big your kahunas are when putting that much psi in them to get the to seat! Oh, and the starting fluid trick is only to stretch a skinny tire onto a wide rim. It's not to inflate the tire and seat it. If you go to inflate a tire and air is just coming out of the tire in the gap between the rim and tire and you can't get it to seal then it's time for the starting fluid. But if you're getting air into the tire and it's inflating but not seating it's still NOT a starting fluid job, just more psi...

  4. With weight on the bike the chain will get tighter. I have mine where it's got about 1/4 inch of play both ways with me on it. Never had a problem. If it's too tight when you sit on it then you will have issues when you jump or hit bumps.
  5. If I knew the bikes will be safe I'd camp for sure. If there's enough of us I'm sure we could safely guard our bikes!
  6. I've an extra 13 tooth here in the garage. I'll swap it out to see what happens....
  7. I'm running stock 14 / 41 gearing and it can be hard to launch in 2nd gear without a little hesitation. Will a 13 front sprocket help out? I don't mind loosing some top end, I never hit 6th gear pinned anyways.
  8. I've got two front white shocks and a set of stock sprockets that I'm willing to trade for a good rear rotor. I pay to ship to you and you pay to ship to me.

  10. Well then let's plan who is bringing what. First we need a list of items needed. I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of this.... Grille and or charcoal (we basically need a cook with a grille) 5 packs of Hot Dogs 1 box of JTMs (around a 16 count) 16 Hamburger Buns 5 bags of Hot Dog buns 4 different large Bags of chips (regular, BBQ, Cheddar and Pretzels) A bottle of Mustard and a bottle of Ketchup Pack of paper plates, forks, spoons and salt and pepper Few deserts Pack of American Cheese Everyone bring their own drinks If you guys can think of anything I missed please add. If you can bring one of the items please add it to the list below. Jasonsbanshee - Will bring the 5 packs of Hotdogs and buns. I'll also have a 35 pack of bottled water on ice for anyone needing it. JoeBanshee - Will bring the chips and pretzels
  11. Is there a place to grill out? I'd say we could have everyone bring something and have a cookout. We could set a time and have everyone meet up and eat together.

  13. Today it was 45 out. I turned in the air screw 1/2 turn and left everything else the same and the problem is completely gone??? Maybe the 20 degrees cooler and the air screws really do make that much of a difference. Either way, I still ordered some goods from Jeff and I'll fine tune my jetting when it gets here.
  14. I've got 110 Cam 2 on a pump about a mile from my house so I'm going to run that. I could probably get away with mixing a 50/50 with 93 but more than likely I'll run the straight 110 octane. We don't have 100 anywhere around here that I know of. We have 86, 87, 89, 92, 93, 94 and 110.
  15. I bought a really nice compression tester today. I'm at 160psi in both cylinders.
