  1. Just a feeler, not sure what anyone will think. Looking to go 4 mil so I don't get rid of my banshee. Willing to trade my whole ported stock set up for a 4 mil long rod crank and maybe a set of cylinders? Idk throw some offers maybe I could throw in cash. My top end was ported by NSX racing (not sure where that is, I think somewhere in Michigan) it's called a trail race port, which is pretty much like a dune port. Comes on hard and pulls good to the top. The crank is a hot rods stock stroke crank which I was told is trued and welded, the pistons are wsm and match the cylinders at 64.25. The motor is together and I'm riding it now. I can get videos of it running if you like or If your close you can ride it. I'm sure someone has a 4 mil setup that's willing to help out a fellow hq'er. Thanks Jordon
  2. I have had mine for a few months and am very happy with them. I check the joints all the time and they don't seem to be loose at all. I think they hold up really good to all the abuse I throw at them too.
  3. And is the ratio the same? My motor is only like 65 horse so I don't need it.
  4. If I remember right I have all the bolts and nuts that hold the cases together in a bag at home. I can check later and if I do you can take them. Just pay shipping.
  5. $45 shipped for everything. Someone buy these. Need money today. If the post office is open right now I'll ship them today and if not I'll have them out first thing monday.
  6. Have your filters off the carbs so you can see your slides move. Adjust the bolt and jam but at the top of your carb caps and tap the throttle until they go up at the same time. I would suggest you buy the sync tool and get them perfect too but if you don't have the money just do it this way, you can usually get it pretty close.
  7. Call up a site sponsor and get your cylinders ported. Biggest gain you can get for your money.
  8. Damn. I'm not pushing too hard to get rid if it. Lol but if the opportunity comes along ill take it.
  9. Someone should buy the stuff in my forsale post to fund me for the change.
  10. Gonna offer this guy $800 and see if he bites on it. Hopefully http://eauclaire.craigslist.org/rvs/3248945491.html
  11. I will just see how it all goes. Maybe do a 450/shee later. Just trying all my options. I know for a fact I love the feel of a 250r though. Who are some good options for porting an R? I would guess the site sponsors would do them too?
  12. Here's the Craigslist add, http://eauclaire.craigslist.org/rvs/3268190071.html $2500 for BHQ members.

  14. I have a stock swingarm. It's a +4 axle. Also, my stock head is cut, forgot to mention that. I like the idea of keeping the banshee but I can always come back if the R isn't my thing. I just put her on Craigslist, hopefully no one buys it.. Lol jk hopefully they do, maybe someone else can enjoy making her scream as much as I did. Still would like some more 250r info. Anyone on here know much about them? I have worked on a lot of them but never messed with aftermarket cylinders and stuff like that on them. I really plan on finding one with all the suspension mods already done so I can focus on making it crazy like the shee. I'll post the Craigslist link, I'm located in northern wi if anyone on here is interested.
  15. My banshee rides good too. But I've ridden the ds450x and it was a lot better. I rode yfzs too and they felt ok but not the best. Idk I refuse to go 4 stroke again. So it's either 250r or banshee. And as bad as it sounds, for how I ride the r seems better. But both sounds even better than that. Super hard decision.
