hey guys just a little confused of which cylinder to get for my cheetah build, ive been looking at this kit on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.ca/Banshee-421cc-Cub-Wampus-Serval-Cheater-Top-End-115-Rod-/350433372409?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item519774e8f9 it says it comes with "ported & plated cylinders". does that mean nikasiled?? i would kind of like the option of boring them out if needed in the future, some input on borable sleeves vs nikasiled based on experience would be great. thanks!!

ya i hear lots of great things about those guys, my biggest issue is im located in canada so mailing across the boarder can get expensive fast thats wuts been holding me back from just ordering the kit (jugs and all)

thanks guys i got an understanding now . i can see myself buying the whole cheetah kit eventually with the properly ported jugs, was looking for a cheaper way out but thats ok haha

thx guys, ive already got a coolhead on it but not sure what size domes, and bikes been through a few people since the porting was done so i doubt i can track him down so by the sounds of what u guys are saying is if the porting is too different from what the new crank needs i wont see a performance gain?

hey guys new to the site as i just bought a modded 2001 banshee. A friend and i just rebuilt the top end and it works great. Now i'm really considering putting in the 4 mill hotrod crank in it and had a few questions. from the research ive done i can tell the engine case does not require trenching for this so im ok there. the cylinder i am running now has 6 hours porting done to it (at least thats what i was told from the guy i got it from, who had several bikes and seemed very educated) now what i need to know is will the 4 mill kit perforn well if the cylinder is not ported exactly for the 4 mill setup? the other thing is which would better better to use if i did use my existing ported head: a spacer plate or stroker domes? or would i need both? some info would be greatly appreciated
