just spoke with kevin from hjr, he seems to think the head is repairable so i feel slightly better lol for you guys wondering about the cranks, he said he had 3 bikes in the shop with either broken crank or rod all different cranks...one of them was a $1300 billet.

yes i bought all the parts from HJR about $2500 worth, now its all trash minus the carbs, fuck

man i really hope so, he was very good to me when buying all the parts

definitely not happy about this, weather just got good out here and my whole motor is fucked from a bad rod, i really hope HJR will help me out a bit with this, a fully licensed small engine mechanic put the motor together with me and the motor was barely broken in, the piston had very little carbon on top if any.

ive got some cases lined up already with no chain wack, just waiting for a reply from kevin to get some other things sorted out first, ill be pretty fucked if the head isnt fixable...

so went for a rip yesterday when my bike came to a loud stop. looked under the motor and seen the crank had destroyed my upper and lower bottom end cases. after taking the motor apart i seen there was alot of damage, the rod let go right under the wristpin and destroyed everything in its path. its a 4mil crank with a 421 drag ported head all bought from kevin. the bike only has about 3-4 tanks of fuel through it and im confused about what could make the rod let go like that. im going to upload some pics so i can get some input from you guys (cylinder repairable?, cause of failure, rebuild suggestions, ect.) my mods are below. im new to uploading so hopefully they work lol

i have a similar setup and i run +2.5, but i always here +4 is common

a compression test only takes a few minutes also...

spark every 3-4 kicks doesnt sound right, is the bike trying to spart at all? timing could be the issue...
