back on topic lol many of the site sponsors have stopped selling these rods on any of their cranks since all these failures, so it seems pretty simple that they are trash

i sent it to HJR and kevin sent it to millenium, he got it back yesterday and said it was the nicest repair job he's seen considering the damage that was done. it cost me 400 buck tho! and that was almost 200 bucks cheaper than if i sent it straight to millenium

loco's is the only one ive seen turn out nice and i think its a honda 450 frame, cant speak for the handling/performance

i had to have my brake lever in an odd position for my twist pistol to work, but i have since put a thumb throttle on...

o and what kind of crank/rods did you go with for your build? my cyls just got done getting repaired from a 29L/R failure and i need to decide my crank/rod combo....

you are correct sir, i seen a 10mil on another site the other day with the bronze rods, broke under the piston just like everyone elses. but ya its completely the tuning that is at fault and not the rods lol the 29lr's are best rod you can put in a shee LOL

the shit rods are "29LR" not the stockers.
