  1. I forgot to mention that I originally just bought the cylinders and bolted them on. A year later I had him port, it gained on top with out loosing anything on the bottom.
  2. Like some of the guys have already said, call Cameron at Redline. I had him port my Serval and I love it. Tyler seen the Dyno run back in Febuary, 85.6 hp. CPI's, 35mm carbs, Cameron's domes, 4.5 timing.
  3. Mine is a 7 bolt also and its a Mod Quad
  4. Factory shock revalved and with a little stiffer spring that was actually set up for my old 3" swing arm
  5. Yes it was about 3 hp peak gain with shearers but it did fall off just a bit on the bottom. The gain in the peak was not enough to make me run out and spend the $ on new pipes, however if I didn't already have CPI's and was looking for pipes I might go shearer. i just posted a pic in the gallery, Its Black and White.
  6. It was 46.51 before Cameron ported, I can't remember for sure what the torque was after porting, I know it was in the 50's. It was done during the HQ dyno day at Redline, lots going on and forgot to get the sheet. I will call Cameron and have him dig that info up and get back to you.
  7. That was my motor and it did dyno at 85.78 after porting (got to through that .78 in there) lol. the timing is set at 4.5 degrees with Cameron's cut domes. I love this set up for a fast dune play bike. Oh before the porting it dyno'd at 74.54. and yes this is on pump.
  8. A quote I heard once, but very true, "Speed cost money, How fast do you want to go?"
  9. Forgot to mention that I had Cameron at Redline touch up the porting, and I'm running 92 non-ethanol.
  10. I've got a 4 mil Serval, 35 mm carbs, V-force II's, CPI's, 4.5 timing, Redline domes, 6" swing, 22-11-8 11 paddle haulers. I love it! Great dune play bike.
  11. I have a 4 mil Serval with CPI's, 35 PWK's and love it!
  12. You called it! Looks like the fork on the right side of the rear guide bar was the problem. the pin and drum had too much wear and was sticking (almost grinding) as is tried to snake through a turn in the drum. In the upper gears that pin is in the straight part of the groove, as you shift down into 3rd it hits a turn and that's where mine was binding up. I had a spare used tranny that I bought last year as a backup, I put those forks and drum in and spun the gears by hand and all seems to be good, can't quite spin them as fast as they do when motor is turning them but not having any problem shifting into all gears! Thanks for your help.
  13. I will tear back into it tomorrow after work, take a look behind the clutch basket just in case I missed something before I split the cases. I will keep you posted on what I find.
  14. After it was back toghter it was in neutral to start with, up shifted through the gears until I hit 5th then started down shifting. Once im in 4 going into 3rd it stops, kinda stuck in between 3rd and 4th, (fake neutral, not in either gear). Everything else inside looked normal except the parts I replaced.
  15. Yeah, I did adjust the eccentric, made sure there was the same distance on top and bottom. Do the shifting forks really bend that easy? Recommend replacing all 3 or just the one? Assuming its the one that moves the 3rd and 4th pinion, if I am looking at the diagram correctly.
  16. Sorry if this is already on here somewhere, I have searched but can't find any other info. Ok here is the issue I am having. A week ago while racing at the dunes my tranny got stuck in the upper 3 gears, would not go below 4th. When I got home I researched on here and came to the conclusion that it was my shift shaft and related parts. So I tore into it and found that they all had a great amount of wear so I replaced all three related parts, shaft, spring and screw. Got it back together and headed down the driveway got into 5th then started to down shift and same damn thing, will not go below 4th. Any other ideas? Could I have a bent shifting fork?
