  10. if the motor is running the water pump is running. granted it isnt doing any actually cooling because you arent moving air through the radiator. so it can build heat depending on how long you let it sit there. you have to keep the quad moving to the air flow through the rad.
  11. i have never had one stretch to the point of that, normaly they rattle and kink up before they stretch that much.
  12. mine is still fairly fresh, but i dont ever really bottom out much.
  13. i have the sprocket and rotor guard from JDS, they work great. i dont run a frame skid, so i cant provide any feedback on them, i hate how much crap they hold
  14. while you are looking check that the bowls are on the right carbs, as that effects the choke circuit as well.
  15. in my mind SLP are like a drag pipe power wise, but the power comes in much lower.
  16. technology has improved and they are still the same. lol.
  17. there is a thread for this already somewhere on here. lol
  18. i never understood how people could run the stock swinger for so long. mine always got twisted out of alignment.
  19. check for a air leak with a leakdown tester.
  20. mines in the same spot. in reality its 2 bolts and 3 plugs and i can take the key, cdi, and voltage regulator out lol
  21. i know the feeling, consider yourself lucky. my old one got stolen and never saw again. Check with the forum sponsors here, they should get you a good price and be able to answer any details you need filled in.
  22. yamaha OEM stuff will cost more then good aftermarket. plus dealers dont know shit about banshee's
