  3. Some of the deals I see people get would blow that thing out of the water if you got it for free. look for good port and top of the line pipes for under 2k. I was in your position traded some labor for mine and still wish I found a deal because it all adds up but you have to start somewhere good luck:) If the reg is up to date 300.00 max in shotty shape.   9. If you can take the bowl off your carb the removable brass parts are the jets look for the stamped numbers. The pt is Paul tuner and they will say what model mid range design or hi range design If you take apart your carb and slide, the needle is there. Please tell us what position the. Clip is in.

  12. What brand pistons? Does .03 mean the pistons and bore clearance ? Thinking that piston clearance is too close. Or a fuel issue hope you do not have to tear it down
  13. Agree the left side could be filling with gas the right is turning and clearing untill it can fire off. It really sucks when both side leak and you have to be tow untill both side fire off
  14. So with the long needle in leanest clip the one (with 6 clips maybe call a dyno jet needle from alba no markings )the power was flat then mid to top pulls good. With the stock needle mid clip it goes then dies abit then pulls good. I think it needes more fuel Stock carbs 310 m 27.5 stock needles Toomey t4 k&n no port. Clean carbs ok plugs
  15. The coil is mounted high under the tank where the gas tank is bolted down. I didn't cross the header pipes. Mine toomies are cut close to the flange and rotated by the expanchine chamber ( engine side ). The stingers are adapted the the location of the pipes. The spring hanger and souport tabs are re located. This is the only experience I have I'm hoping someone will do some CPI or shearers or R2 and report on how it went. If you can do most of the work your self your. Biggest cost will be the roller. My unexpected cost where the desert tank and the stator to run the 450 lights. But the biggest point of the swap is long travel. So that has also been a big cost. After the swap was done the things I need to do better is bigger pipes. After market rear shock with a remote resi. To make room for custom k&n air tubes. I currently use the 450 air box and pro flow adaptor. I want the 10 inch k&n pods. The ride and brakes are 10x better than before. I'm have way more control at top speed.

  19. Yes new seat with the valves. Set the float at 21 mm. I read the directions about setting them. I good you tube video would help. I guess it's time For a shop manual and hope for a good picture of the measuring points. Good idea with the tooth paste.
  20. But they still leak I have to get towed around the bock to start because the over flow tubes are blocked. They are brand new from the dealer. Any suggestions on making them seal? Ps I will unblock the overflow

  22. X2 on moving the fuel inlet nipple unless you see glue or solder you can carefully turn the pipe. I used a Phillips screw driver that fit snug in side and used my fingers to move it , no leaks after.
