  1. I googled banshee wire harness and got a pic of a stripped harness jut the minimum first attempt worked perfect. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/uploads/monthly_09_2008/post-14920-1222470122_thumb.jpg
  2. When you see the design of the t.m. Case saver you will know You got a good deal. But you didn't mention engine porting or internal mods.
  3. http://m1191.photobucket.com/albumview/albums/tmjlhesse/IMG_0196.jpg.html?o=0&newest=1 Looks like mine good job
  4. I was at camp, riding in ocotillo in SoCal and this dude goes flying by with a fake baby in a back pack baby carrier. Every women in camp went crazy for the rest of the trip. My two girls are the best parts of my life. Congrats!
  5. I just brought the engine back from HJR and will install soon but I need some intake fab done so it will be a while.
  6. I see you fixed the slow part of that quad. Good job. I'm going to get that chain device too.
  7. Well I guess just ground the lead you floated and your back to normal.
  8. I don't have your carbs but float hight was my issue.
  9. You may have the check the harness for a pitched wire. I would also get a spark plug tester light and a buddy(powered by beer) to kick it over and over while you do the harness wiggle test. Then you may find the issue. If that fails I would strip the harness down remove the extra wires and look for melted spots.
  10. X2 on slide pins. File down ridges or replace pins if worn. Lube with bearing grease or moly or marine grade or high temp or astro...
  11. I would try +3 arms with 3/4 spacers then you can take out spacers if you don't like it.
  12. I'll post up closer to glamis season.
  13. My brothers also has the Yfz shocks arms and spindles, rode like crap. Then we relocated the shocks for ride hight and put on front spacers and it helped alot. But my +3arms and works dual rates is 4.77 times better.
  14. Got back from glamis last week. Kevin did a rebuild fresh top end and true and welded crank. Had a great trip and every thing went well. Thanks Kevin
  15. Fixed supply leak then adjusted floats to 22mm and tested in cul de sac street. Both sides seen to fire nice and loud also even smoke. And I think no leak from vent tube. So it's off to glamis this mon-wed
  16. Update fuel leak from supply was found. Swapped plug wires no change. Also the left side seems to ping louder than right. Going to set floats better and try compression test Also re sync carbs. And put some glamis miles on it on Monday thru wedensday. Thanks for input and post up for more ideas
  17. Left side carb 1.) Pulls more suction 2.) smokes out pipe little more Right side carb 1.).less suction 2.) less smoke 3.) drips out fuel from upper drain tube (left tube) Small fuel drip on ground over night Carbs slides lift even and tores removed. Brand new motor stock heads and good reeds Float levels same.
  18. Please post with a success or fail. I'm following for my brother
  19. When Adjusting the essentric screw, put the bike it a gear, don't matter what one, first or second is good. Loosen up the lock nut, remove essentric screw, throw away the folding lock washer, install new one, check the end of the essentric screw for wear, if there are grooves replace. Install essentric screw. Adjust shifter claw so that there is the same amount of space between the claw and the shift star pin on both top and bottom. Double check. remove shift shaft, Tighten nut while holding screw with flat screw driver. install shift shaft to make sure you are still good, its good, remove shaft, fold washer replace shaft, install new clutch cover gasket. bolt everything up, refill coolant, refill with favorite flavor of oil. run the shit outta that shee! Adam will this help with cold lurching or having to rev it the put in first with out killing the motor. Or is this just for miss shifts? Will pancake help?
  20. Also he doesn't have the pancake bearing but his basket was replaced. He has the stock shifter. No shift star
  21. My brothers banshee does the lurch and rev to start in first gear. his clutch rod going in to case doesn't line up and we haven't socked the issue but his does have a racing clutch springs. Do you?
  22. Looking forward to your banshee install pics
  23. My brother did it with spindles and we think it works well. He loves it. We cycled the suspenision there was no bind or extream angle. But it is just a dune trail bike if it was mx all ways jumping I would do real good stuff but for the sand cheap upgrade.
  24. How's your clutch basket? If you pull the clutch and not fully disengage the motor it will still spin the tranny and resists shifting. X2 tranny fluid. Nobody mentioned better or worst when hot or cold or flat or up hill Double check that the clutch rod going in to the case has the arrows lined up. Does your bike when cold start kinda lurch forward when you kick it? Does it kinda stall when you put it in first gear and have to rev it so it doesn't stall?
