  1. Could you post what jetting you have and elevation. A leakdown kit is cheap insurance and a compression test would help too. Mod quad tors delete. The red jumpers are not useful. Be sure to remove the tors brain box. The dent is 50/50. Some people pressurize the exhaust with air and use a torch to pop the dent out. Cause any real problem no Your air filter is 50/50. Yes a spring is missing. Btw go job posting pics. Most run a billet ovel shaped k&n with outters if water or mud is going to happen if you are dunes only maybe no box and or pods on carbs. Welcome to bhq. If you are in so cal show your quad to Herr jugs racing and Kevin can help you out with tuning and ect
  2. The tooth paste trick is good for the needles and seats. Oem set is 15$ each. What is you elevation? I thinking more like 280-300 mains and 27.5 p. Maybe more mains if you got pods or k&n. Leak down kit is a good test to do also
  3. And a big thanks to Kevin herr for just helping me out with every detail and wanting to double check the engine after I installed it.
  4. Last on my list is custom Matt shearer pipes. Going to have to save a long time. But I hear Matt's shop is in so-cal.
  5. The last mods are going well. The custom two in to one manifold ( aluminum ) with the factory air box( yfz450 ) rubber intake part doesn't flow so the new plan is to mod the stock rear shock by relocating the resi and using 2" rubber tube to mate to the banshee carbs and a custom plate on the pro flow yfz450 air box. This will make more room for the exhaust pipes too. Pics soon.
  6. So how does it compair? How's the balance
  7. eBay I think 10-15$ HJR sells them too
  8. 800 ft maybe 290-300 mains 25 p. any jetting needs a plug chop and compression check and leaking down to be sure that the motor is trail ready
  9. What is your elevation? 25 pilots are ok with your air box if you are at sea level my brother has same setup and like 300 in his.
  10. I'm going to contact ASV and get the correct base piece. Then test fit again to make sure. I will post up again.
  11. Bad new the break lever part number doesn't match banshee. Also the thickness is 11.8 and stock banshee 9.4 So the asv banshee number is baf31-r I got BAF30-R
  12. Cmf30-r 75$ amazon Bhf30-r. 68$ amazon Mint condition. Have one guy interested if he says no ill need another offer
  13. X2 on swapping it is the fast way. Post up what it turns out to be
  14. Yup got a air leak and I just tryed the 30 p and to bring down the idle the mix screws where closed and the idle was still higher but improved so I think my intake gaskets are bad.
  15. Also I have a sync tool and the idle air speed is 7 hg both sides.
  16. So just got the motor back from dune port. And I'm trying to sync carbs and figure out the issue. The idle is ok then I rev it it is slower to rev and I let off and it is slow to return. 4 mill fresh plugs and 25 pilot mid clip stock needle and 340 mains thanks bhq
  17. If you run Toyota red coolant if has a sealants that is actavated when it gets cold air on it
  18. To stay in budget HJR port and mill the head should be about 400+ gaskets. Don't need domes and you could afford the timing plate. Your pipes are ok if you got some othe pipes else you may notice a little difference.
  19. I have red really nice condition. You could send them out to get polished.
  20. If you in so cal hit up HJR
  21. Are you concerned about your jetting? Just suggesting a plug chop
  22. Also test cable. Remove throttle and just move by hand. If it sticks possible new cable or maybe the way the cable is routed.
  23. Besides above is in the left plug? Maybe the choke plunger is not seating good ( it is on the left side) or the spark plug boot not transferring energy well enough( swap plugs see if the issue switches sides) Reeds chipped on that side. Maybe the port job was only done on one side and the jets are too rich on the oily plug side. ..... Never know
