Don't use the after market pipe mounts. Stick with the factory rubber mounts to keep them from cracking off the mount tabs. Also shearer sells raw pipes to other suppliers and those suppliers are using lower grade chrome or nickel also clean your chrome with proper stuff

It had no port and 310 jets and the pistons are coated in carbon because the jetting was rich. I can't read the top of pistons with video scope. Any other way to check besides tearing it down? I put 290 mains and its good now
