  1. Send motor to redline, pay bill to fix correctly. Install. Ride.
  2. You'll know 1st pass if you need more fuel flow
  3. You've got the right stuff to a good setup.
  4. These are pretty simple to work on. We can tell you what ya got if you end up pulling head . Ask previous guy who built the motor, if u can get honest answer , most times the builder can tell you what it is.
  5. U can tell by the transfers they arent wampus cyls.
  6. Look at the outer side of intake, 2GU , Also look at transfers. It's a stock cyl. Could be a ported 4mm . If you took the head off we could tell you what it is.
  7. For starters, those are stock yamaha cylinders not a cub.
  8. He gave you a rough idea on how to start. If you honestly cant brainstorm some possibilities after getting engine in, and seeing what needs done , then you're probably better off getting a fabricator to look at it...
  9. . Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  10. Without riding it, you'll need to see the trans to identify if it's an overide. Not insulting you, but sounds like your best option would be to have someone with a clue on these race motors go thru it. Theyll know what to look for. And I assure you the small labor fee you'll pay, will be far less than what's gonna happen to it.
  11. Are you wanting to drag race it ? Best thing to do is tear it down and go through it, so you know it's all good before it grenading at WOT , causing alot more damage. Looks like it's got good parts , shouldnt need much. Any info on who built it ? And what/where is it leaking
  12. To know for sure you'll need to check stroke and bore size. Probably what you were told is right.
  13. Post closer up pics of engine. Looks like a CP cyl to me. If u can get a bore scope, you can check top of piston to see what size it is, and also measure the stroke with caliper, gotta remove tank.
