    carb bowl could be switched around or float height could be off a little. I would consider checking those first

    I know those dirtbike guys. Lol Mx track is always under water.. I wish I could have made it still. Non drag weekend get a lot more passes just run all day and half the night but not a prepared track.

    I really have had issues with dirty flywheel and excessive pickup gap effecting spark but maybe in theory it shouldnt but real life... it does and will either foul plugs or not rev like it should. Just my experience fwiw

    that idler is common to come off and clip and washer get destroyed, check all the gears in the trans and clutch gear for damage. Have fun, these motors are relatively simple. when you have question don't be afraid to ask.. after you have searched of course.

    this bike does run hard, he just finished this season with a couple of wins fighting with a motor I put together . hjr can do good work I think.. sometimes.

    Actually if you grease the gasket you can reuse them..

    ^and a new clutch kit I have been using driveline kits with very good results

    Sounds like you need to pull the clutch cover and inspect the ball and rod

    Could be the stator or cdi Bad ground even Did you pull the flywheel and see if its dirty inside?
