sounds like an easy fix... to bad it didnt get fixed the first time though. i think the regular jb weld works better than the quick stuff.

I'm looking for a silicone radiator hose kit. Does anyone have any experience with the cheaper kits off ebay? Or the Tusk kit from rockymountainatv? thanks!

sounds like its running lean... have you tried adjusting the air screw while its warmed up? i would move the clip up 2 positions and mess with air screw and see if it clears up.

i dont see that fin causing enought turbulance to be a problem... im assuming you already have intake boots to fit the larger carbs?

have you done a leakdown test? have you synced the carbs? < one of these is most likely your problem

i bet the rings would catch that thing is so wide.. i wonder if one side is larger to help swirl the exhaust gases out.. haha

not a major difference but a difference yes.. there is however a major difference in price at the pump!!!

did you check over the carb boot on both carbs? if its reving high you might have an air leak.. could have wiggled a carb loose or not tighted the clamps all the way.

get a good port job from one of our site sponsors and possibly shave the head and advance timming and you will have a pretty good chance.. up to the rider at that point i would say. let us know how that goes!

i will say busco is the best place i have ever been... all i do is talk about this place! They have 1800 acers of land and it is surrounded by a river so you wont go to far (however you can still get lost!) they have a dragtrack that is open to everyone and they have lights for night racing (at the dragtrack) but if you have headlights you can ride all night! there are hills, lakes to race around, trails forever, and plenty of mudholes for 4x4 guys. you can have fires and drink, but not while driving.. i absolutly love this place. as long as im not at work you can find me here so if im off work at this time i will def be there!! it is truely a riders paradise!!
