your not telling anything about the bike besides what main jets you were running but sounds like a 158 would be a good start and do a plug chop to confirm. most likely will need a richer pilot jet as well..

anybody involved with the mid east hare scrambles? I have never done it before but would like to try it out. How do you like it? What kinda setup do I need?

Reclean the carb on that side and check float height maybe?

Do you have tors? If not do you have idle adjustment screws? Should idle with the 25 pilot

Check compression and spark. Did u do a leakdown? Pickup gap correcct?

either go with a duneplay port or a serval setup maybe eve some other big bore... the dune play isn't gonna loose enough on bottom or mid to make it untrailable

Stick with the oem unit I have had and know people that have had nothing but trouble with aftermarket cdi's and stators.

Atwh is your jetting at? If you don't get any stuttering your probobly good. I would ride it like that for a few hrs and recheck the plugs and if theey get black then maybe go 1 leaner on main. Glad u got it running better :-)

go ahead and do the leakdown test but it sounds like your actually rich on the mains to me. i have similar setup at sea level with 155's. with your elevation you should be leaner than me. also double check your float height. it should be 19mm

well i have a report.. i could not get the electrosport stator to run (no spark) with a stock cdi box. i did however get it to run with a procom cdi but not very well. i though it was a jetting problem for weeks chasing it around rich/lean and could not get it right. i finally bought a stock cdi and stator and now the bike runs perfect!! i am going to stay away from the aftermarket stuff....
