  1. Lets rule out electrical problems. Check grounds at coil and engine to frame and plug wires ends. Then find out if you have oem cdi and coil. Then i would find out about those needles.. maybe swap some stockers in to see if it changes anything

  4. Im trying to get this lsr drag axle installed and seems like both the brake and sprocket hubs touch the carrier and not the bearings. what am i missing here? do i need a specific carrier or some spacers?

  6. yeap its still fun... haha I talked to the guy about setting the lights up, apparently they are trying to pick dates for some test and tune so I recommended june 1st. he tells me its very possible.
  7. take the clutch cover off and see whats broke. hopefully its something that can be fixed without spliting the cases

  10. im headed down next weekend to make sure its still fun as i remember.. ill be sure and ask about them setting up the lights for us.
  11. engine to frame and coil to frame. the one by the regulator is for the lights i think.
  12. i have had good luck with cutting only 3rd and 4th gear. seems like those are the ones that give the most trouble. i start off in 2nd most of the time anyways. wildcard put the bearing on the drum for me, i want to say it was 45 bucks to have that done.
  13. how bad are they leaking and were from? do you have the drain hose routed behind the engine?
  14. no you shouldnt backload with either, dunable is just a little more forgiving because it has springs to hold the forks in place.
  15. i like to go over the electrical system before i do jetting because if you dont have a strong enough spark you will have a hell of a time getting it to jet right. check the pickup gap and that the flywheel is free of rust, then check to be sure you have good ground at coil and engine to frame. then make sure you have a oem stator and cdi. lots of junk aftermarket stuff out there that will cause this exact problem be sure you have a clean air filter! once everything else is good then you can start jetting. what pilots have you got in and have you tried adjusting the air screws at all?
  16. pro wedges work ok on the track but i like the tires i have on that red and white machine. the ohtsu tires that fast sells are good as well. the track can change pretty quick to when its moist to when its dry, some guys will run paddles if its really moist but i dont see any need for them here unless you have a looong swingarm or a wheelie bar because it can hook pretty hard sometimes.
  17. why has everyone gotta hate on my FLIPFLOPS!! haha thanks for the kind words guys but there are gonna be some much faster bikes than my lil 350. me and 252's 421 went at it for hrs but i think wacko took the cake with daroosta. that is one bad machine. jason i havent talked to them yet about the tree being setup but i dont see why they couldnt do it for us on sat night at least... ddq if we give you beer maybe you will stop cryin about the heat!! haha
