yeah because you don't have a 6th gear you don't need a peg to go into it
  6. thanks mike and Jason for the kind words. mike im glad you put the smack down on those 2 raptors!! that one with the turbo wasn't as impressive once you got up next to him. it was only a 3500 dollor turbo.. ha and sorry chris for kicking dirt on ya. if we would have got the water truck over there they probably would have got the track a little better so we didn't have to line up next to each other like that. nobody got anymore pictures? ddq was the photographer that called out. guess he had other things to do. break stuff.. i dunno
  7. me and c.carrol talkin about how the track needed water my bikes. one has a minor injury. haha
  8. thanks to everyone who came out, it was a lot of fun. Some of us rode wheelies to far on the track, some went swimming with their trail bikes, and some even went flying into the brier bush after taking out a tree branch at 60mph from showboating a victory. glad everyone made it out alive! and got their shoes back. haha . I made some new friends and got to hang out with some old ones. do it again later this year sometime? get some pics up soon..
  9. if those vitos are the ones with the relief cut on the exhaust side you may feel a power gain with those.
  10. airstrikers? oh man... they can be a pain I just set one up with 38 pilots and 145 main with CEL needles in middle slot. still seems rich up top but should be a good start. good luck
  11. yeah without a little rain its probably going to be dusty. I don't mind going up to the office and asking for the water truck to hit the track.
  12. its like a clay/dirt/sand mix. when it dries its hard packed and kinda slick. when its wet it seems to hook pretty hard if you can bite into it some. sounds like you had way to much tire pressure 9'' rims are what I have been using. haven't messed with the 8's
  13. the Honda radials from FAST are pretty good for out there.. http://farmandsandtoys.com/products.asp?make=YAMAHA&model=BANSHEE&cat=TIRES / SUSPENSION&offset=0 http://farmandsandtoys.com/products.asp?make=YAMAHA&model=BANSHEE&cat=TIRES / SUSPENSION&offset=0 one problem is probably the extended swingarm. if your not getting traction then moving it further out will only increase the problem by having less weight on the tires. I have been running some Dunlop radials I haven't had much luck with 10" rims it doesn't let the tire bite it seems because there isn't much sidewall to the tire 1 more thing is tire pressure. I usually only run about 3-4 psi to much air will make them spin like crazy edit: the track out there is totally different when it has some moisture on it than when its dry. once its moist you should be able to get some grip that's for sure...
  14. its supposed to be 90 and sunny... cant stand the heat?
  15. If its running good ride it. im betting you a little rich up top. I have similar mods with porting and 155 is about spot on.
  16. Same slingshot i have.. i got a wrench in there
  17. I would go with some 28pwk's unless you plan on more agressive porting and some topend pipes
