  1. Start tearin it appart... it could be bottom end or you could have broke a piston skirt from excessive pw clearance. Do you keep an eye on compression and keep a clean airfilter?

  4. Dont as he says "expect" an answer.. he wont ever answer anything.. lol I won 2 1st place trophies this past weekend in some heads up classes 351-450cc. Even 2nd in a larger class 500-700cc. This clutch tunning works! im using lighter than stock weight on the springs and about 16.6g on each arm with my 421 cub. Its got a good ammt of slip i can feel it even going into 4th and 5th slip just a little.

The std style lockup i just went to is new to me, all my experience is with the slingshot. Maybe its how much gap when the clutch is pulled? This doesnt seem to important to me as some other things as i have learned from your experience. And comon sence
  7. Some guys drag race up a hill some guys drag race on a groomed 300ft track. Others just race flat sand In my opinion you want as much of the weight to transfer on to the rear wheels as possible in any case without having to let off the throttle and without having bounce of the wheelie bar if you have one
  8. How far are you from busco? I could proboby do it.. i go down there pretty often There arent any site sponsors in nc that i am aware of.
  9. Bring that new build to greene's and slades oct 5th and 6th. Lots of other bikes to look at and talk to people running them. Then come to busco on the 12th. Is it going to be a race bike or what?
  10. Get it rich till its shooting fuel out the pipe. I would like to know more details about the setup. Powerjet should be wide open. turn the needle in 2 turns. Once fuel is coming out then bump up the timming to at least 7*
  11. its more likely that it went into the pipe than to the cases. unless your pipe was filled up and your radiator was completely empty. i wouldnt worry about it. maybe just kick it over a couple times with the plug removed and then run it.
  12. with alky you run x2 as much fuel. all this fuel can blow out the spark in theory. i have run both ways and cant tell a difference but i do run a nology coil on both bikes.
  13. that should be close. i would guess a little more on main, maybe start with a 160. what needle are you using? i usually start with needle in middle clip position. im running at sea level with a stock stroke motor 48/155 n68a needle vf4's will require a larger pilot jet
  14. i could be wrong but i think its a vacume line for a fuel pump. if your not using one then you need to plug it up
  15. im going to call noss on monday, ill ask if he would do it. maybe someone can call trinity? i bet he could cut down a std style dome to work for a 4 mil dome
  16. Anyone try to get a set of blanks from trinity and send them to noss machine?
