STY, does that c14 use more fuel then say a regular sunoco 110? What was needed to be changed to go from C14 to Q16? Where did your times change with the switch? Im looking into running oxygenated possibly.

Be very clear and get a hotrods crank! If it was me I would run it on race gas. And get some 35-38 carbs.

my motors ARE predictable. And on my motors I just put gas in and go for years and years. Its all in the setup.

Did you ever check your squish or did the builder tell you what it was? It also looks like it was ridden more then one time real quick. Was there ever a leakdown done? Something dont add up.

This is the BIG misconception. Builders dont have time or are not making enough money on it to build it exact to your setup and needs. All "builders" have "off the shelf" builds 95% of the time. Pre ported, domes pre cut. etc.... Call one of them and ask to get real porting and or real domes for your setup and ask what it will do. If they know what they are doing they can explain the difference and it will cost alot more. The problem is everybody wants it cheapest compared to fastest. Imo if you want a serious dm call Mat Shearer. He is doing stuff on another level. The best costs.
