well with switching pipes you might wanna check jetting again. It coukd just be lean. Feed ut fuel And back the timing to 5 and see how it responds. check squish, compression, while your at it.
I dont see nothing wrong with type f if you change it often. it grabs the best imo. belray is also good. as well as a few others. not really sold on the motor oil etc.. tried it once, my clutch slipped instantly.

Your obviously running them because the fix was easy. actually I think you just bolted them up! Those arms came off a complete bike and I NEVER ran them. I got them that way and just turned them.
