  1. Ill just say this. He is a different kind of human being. But his trannys do work, like any other I have had. And are cut the same as any other.
  2. who would put .050 base gasket in? Did someone add a thick gasket to raise ports a few degrees and call it ported? Then just cut domes to match.
  3. id bevel the outsides of cracks then tap it in so its round again, then tig it lil by lil.
  4. Right, but with todays fluids when they state "friction modifiers". That is taking friction away.
  5. run higher gear ratio like mentioned and air down. You will do fine. As long as the bike runs at all you will do fine.
  6. I thought type f has No friction modifiers? thats why its grabs the best. dexron and other trans fluids all have modifiers in differemt amounts to get a certain amount of slip. synchromax surely has modifiers in it to purposely get slip. Just like most motor oils and any sythetic im sure. I would try dexron/mercon fluids or factory auto fluids like honda or chevy. just a thought to get something to work right and be cheaper then 20 a quart for synchro.
  7. thought this would of moved by now for sure
  8. So does the synthetic slip more and solve the shift issue?
  9. Id think shorter is better for there. its a short run. 15,45 or 46 maybe. or a 14,43 somethin like that. with a 12 or 14 extreme
  10. I got mine just like that and ran it for 3 years. hone , hand sand, run it! a couple builders told me the same they told you.
