Nice 2003 Cannondale Cannibal for sale in Omaha

For sale is a 2003 Cannondale Cannibal located in Omaha, NE. It has a freshly rebuilt motor with a Timbomoose +2mm stroker crank w/ the Z400 bearing update. The motor has been completely updated and gone through. The ECU has been custom mapped and had all fuel settings setup for the stroker motor. All assembly was professionally completed by C&D Racing in Omaha, Nebraska and that is where the bike is currently located and can be viewed. This is an extremely nice bike that is ready to be broken in and shred the trails or dunes. The tires are 20" 8 paddle Skat-Trak Haulers on the rear and 21" Kenda Dune Trackers on the front. It has a custom Jettrim seat, new red Cannondale plastic w/ silver side spars and headlight surrounds. Not shown in the pictures are fresh candy blue powdercoat on the a-arms and clutch cover and also an HMF candy blue pipe. The magnesium valve cover has been blue moly-coated to prevent any undesirable reaction with the water in the coolant. This machine has been built right, and will make a great bike for some one for a good price. I am asking $3500. Please e-mail or PM me with any questions.

From my experience with the 450's, both the Yammy and Honda, once they are piped and cammed they are damn tough to beat without some extensive engine modification. Don't take the 450's lightly because if you're stock they'll hand you your ass.

what was your senior quote?

"Do you have any naked photos of your girlfriend? Would you like some?" I graduated with a whopping 215 people in 1995. I live in the middle of nowhere and graduated from the biggest school for miles and miles--most of the other schools around here graduate anywhere from 12 to 50 kids each year. The joys of growing up in hickville, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. -
The KFX700 is bar none the fastest auto quad built by a huge margin. Hooked up with a clutch kit and pipes, they will run with damn near any piped quad out there right now. They have some great potential as well--85 horse to the rear wheels @ $1000 for a FST 800 BBK. I would challenge any one to find a quad that will produce those numbers with that amount of invested money. As the reputable 4 stroke engine builders such as Four Stroke Tech continue to advance their engine kits for the KFX, they will be competive with any super modded quad anywhere. Mickey at FST is working on a 900 chain drive KFX as we speak--when he is done with that quad it will hand damn near everything on the planet its ass.

It is a good sized area. The legal riding area is in the neighborhood of about 8 miles by 3 miles. There is at least twice that much more dune area that is shut off for "Wilderness Study Area." The taller dunes show between 150 to 200 foot of rise on my GPS--not Glamis, but good sized hills no less. The weather wasn't very cooperative for us this weekend. There was a good amount of rain and the sand was just soaking wet. Combine wet sand with Labor Day traffic and you can see how chewed up the dunes got. I love riding at Killpecker--it's far enough out of the way that it isn't every extremely busy and it offers some of the best dune riding I have experienced.

This should give all the people who were wondering about Killpecker a good idea of what the area is like.

According to the BLM, it is the largest sand dune system in North America. The dunes that are closed are actually a lot taller than the ones that are legal to ride on. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking as well--wild horses, mountains in the background, and an imposing volcanic spire called Boar's Tusk. Killpecker truly is a hidden treasure, and can provide one of the most thrilling dune rides you will ever experience. The fact that it is such a remote location is a benefit IMO--you can get back in the dunes with your buddies and never see another soul. Even on the busy weekends I would guess there are only 500 or so people there.

I got a good friend that lives over by killpecker,...they buggy there quite a bit actually. Hopefully someday I'll make it up that way and check them out myself. Killpecker is an awesome place to ride, I believe I have talked to you about riding at Walden before. If you are in the area, just take the extra 3 hours to go to Killpecker because it is definately worth it. I'm going to be riding Killpecker over the Labor Day weekend, and I'll get lots of pictures. I assume you ride Little Sahara, OK--Killpecker's dunes are quite a bit bigger than LS and there is about 13,000 ridable acres of 43,000 total. It is a challenging place to ride because the wind carves razorbacks all over the dunes. I can't wait for Saturday

Because everyone knows the orange ones are faster That and I like to be different If you buy, stay away from the limited editions with the lava or carbon fiber plastic. The process Kawi uses to get the textured look hardens the plastic and they break really easy. Steamboat, eh. I was there a couple times in my high school years on Snowboarding trips. I haven't been on a board for 10 years and I haven't been to a ski resort in 10 years either. I guess quads are just too much fun We used to hit Walden a lot, but we have started riding Killpecker Dunes in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Way bigger than Walden with a lot better dunes. Walden has become so crowded with nutjobs here in the last few years that we don't go there much. That video was the only trip we made there this summer.

You can make the KFX as bad as you want. I've got mine hooked up with full Dalton clutch components, dual pipes, opened airbox, and 6* flywheel key--it will rip like mad. We go and ride the woods a lot during the fall/winter, but I haven't had it in the woods with the clutch kit and timing advance. During the summer, it is strictly dune season around here and the paddle tires never come off. The way I have my clutch set up now is so aggressive, the reverse rev limiter kicks in before it will engage the clutches It's interesting having to hold the reverse override button just to get it to go in reverse My KFX in it's current state is easily as fast as my old Banshee with quite a few mods. The one thing I will say though is the stock front suspension is terrible and needs replaced if you ride any whoops at all. Here is a little video of my KFX at Walden, CO racing my buddies piped and cammed 450R and a piped and cammed Z400. Walden, CO My machine is still bone stock internals, no cams, no high comp pistons--bone stock. Four Stroke Tech currently has an 800 kit out that is pushing 80 horse, and Mickey Dunlap is also working on a 900 for himself. I know a guy that runs Sand Mountain in Nevada with a FST 800 on NOS and beats almost everything he lines up against. Here's a picture of mine. If you want some good info on them, go check out the Kawieriders forum

Can't get float bowl screws off carb
Killer_Shee replied to Shee_Man's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Take a Dremel or a small die-grinder and cut a slot in the head so that you can use a straight screwdriver to get the screw out. Then take those phillips head screws and throw them as far as you can, and then go to the hardware store and get allen cap screws to replace them. -
Looking at buying some 'shees
Killer_Shee replied to Killer_Shee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'm gonna go look, if everything works out, I may even keep my 700. Ya interested in one? I talked to Gary and he said they would bring good money down there.
