  2. are the cylinder head nuts the same ft/lb as the case? i havent stared to put it back together ill just get the manual i know i need it like i need my carb sync tool thanks for the help bhq members

  4. ok i got some new crank seals and want to know if should grease them all around ?? looking for opinions on how you would go about replacing crank seals ??

  7. nice thanks i use to rebuild 350 chevy motors and thought it would be in a sequence
  8. i need to know what the torque specs are for the case ?and also what to use to seel it with? because they dont make a gasket for the case. and if it ok to clean the crank bearings with brake cleaner sense they dont got oiled by the tranny oil but with the gas/oil mix running threw the carbs
  9. it prolly was just to rich i got it with whatever gas/oil mix was in the tank took it for a ride then its been sitting sense. thanks every one for your opinions they all helped with sorting this out maybe ill see some of you at the dunes in a few weeks
  10. ok damn so what you will need to do is get a rubber gromment like i the pic so it will fit the sync tool and seel the very end of the carb not the inside hope this helps and might have to go online to find one big enough if your local hard wear store dose'nt have it
  11. i know they burn oil all two strokes do just my 250r never did this so i wanted to get some opinions cause this is my first shee and dont want to ruin it
  12. yeah they tapped holes in the carbs but there are no idle screws but left just the tors and cut the wires that go to the tors f**cking people
  13. the oily spec was when i put my hand to the exuast at high rpms and only checked it once sense i only rode it once
  14. alot of smoke for a few seconds at high rpms once in awhile and a oily spec or two but i have only took it for one ride after i got it . but they said this bike sat for two years and not sure how much ride time they had after that. and and also it had idle screws taped for the crabs but they were missing and it seemed to idle and run fine by ear
  15. air flow is the right way if you like things to be at spec .going by eye maybe if you left your sync tool at home and you streched your new cable after riding it hard for a week
  16. good question not sure about the leak and they said 50:1 on the two stroke oil but i havent ran it sense it seemed to be runing rich i was thinking it was just my cylinders needed to be bored which they do but .cause i thought trans oil with threw where the crank is but never seen any oil in the crank area when i pulled the motor
  17. F.A.S.T. sells them as well. Lots of people use those. They work awesome.

  20. ok so i have another problem for bhq to solve so my shee when it off and in 1st gear and i pull the clucth and push it, it still turns the motor but when its runing and i pull the clucth then put it into 1st it seems to work like it should. i think the preson i got it from put lucas motor oil cause its really think and clear and i think they might have put it in was cause of oil blow by ,would this oil make my clutch not right and just so you know im boring the cylinders and geting new pistons

  22. i would'nt go to j arms if i had a chioce but i broke my a arm off at the frame hit a tree hard and this one was cheap and olny ten miles from home
