My brand new oem seal on my brand new crank leaks

Anyone by any chance have a good used raptor 80 carb? I was cleaning one and the needle under the float is so corroded that I'm tearing it up trying to get it out. LMK thanks yall

Both pm's replied. I forgot to mention that this crank is trued and welded, so I was told and that's what I paid for. But it doesn't look any different from my new crank, so how can I tell if its welded for sure. I don't want to misslead anyone. I see welds on the outer web pins but is that standard? I didn't look real close on the inner webs.

I was using this crank from my previous build for my 421 cub build, but once I assembled it, it did not pass a leak down test to my satisfaction. It was leaking from the outer seal on the flywheel side on the shaft itself. I then ordered a new crank from FAST thinking the used crank was no good, completed the build and it also leaked in the same location. Evidently I bought another crank for nothing, but oh well. Now I have this other crank that nothing is wrong with and dont need it. 300.00 shipped + pp fees or make me a reasonable offer. This is where it was leaking and only dropped 1psi every 20 minutes or more.

Hmm, I know exactly what to use, I'm an industrial electrician, I can use the gromments out of the cgb's that we use for bulk heads and conduit. Thanks, this may curb my mind to the glass as long as I can find a set for under 300.00 lol

Also, my frame is candy red and I may be getting tired of the black on red. Any suggestions on body color and still have the red stand out?

I'm juggling the idea of the fast fibers for my drag build but was thinking the glass might be pronge to cracking from vibration. But then again, I like the look of the fullbores. Just looking for a few opinions.

Hmm, I was on their website and it resembled a few but I didnt compare ball joints. Maybe someone will chime in that knows. If not they seem like good arms anyway. I just need the tie rods for them and kinda wanted to go with whomever made these.
