421 cub drag ported by k&t, 40 lectrons +7 timming, hv fuel pump. This is not a plug chop yet but just heat cycles then had some problems with needle and seat. Got it all worked out, put new br9es in, cranked, ran it on and off for few minutes at a time, along with fatening the needles up and this is what I have and it scares the shit out of me. The motor at first crank tried to run away at times while adjusting idle and eventually reved high as shit and I attempted to kill it but it never happened so I pulled the plug caps off and it finally died. What's yall take on this and should I pull the top end to inspect.

Is (this guy) a local builder round your parts or a riding buddy? Hopefully a riding buddy.

But surely you would need all of the bolt on mods to right? Reeds, timming plate, tors removal and jetting etc.....???

Fellas, yall don't know how much I appreciate your comments and help. Kevin got me going on the needle and seat, She takes throttle now and seem to want to run good but after reading all this I I'm going to order another cable, it is too short. Just need to find a good price on the cable and possibly billet throttle. ANY LONG TERM LOANERS AVAILABLE HAHA. Pm me if yall have a good used one possibly. Scraping the bottom of the barrel on the last of my build, especially since our twins will be here in two weeks. Thanks a million again guys.
