  1. I have a set of CPI in frames but the stingers were stolen. Anyone got something that will fit, preferably in chrome or polished.
  2. My bud has 34pj's on his stk stroke with a full drag port and it gave my 4mil a run for its money until I cut my trans.
  3. Anyone got a 421 for sale. I've got a 4mil crank just need the cylinders.
  4. I was told the stock cylinders can be replated up to .020. But I'm screwed either way since it looks like the damage is more than that. The cost to resleeve and report isn't what I wanted to spend on this set up again. I'll go to a cub.
  5. If you part it, looking for a 421, but picks a must either way.
  6. That's what I was thinking minus carbs. Thanks, I might try eBay and hope it bids up a little more.
  7. Was up yall, got a question for the honest peeps here. I'm trying to sell one of my old setups I was hanging on to but now I'm going to a 421 cub and need funds. It really doesn't matter if I sell it here, just want to know what its worth. It is a stock cylinder 4mill, full drag port by someone yall don't know but is a reputable builder in my area and was very impressive. Cylinder bore is at .050 and accept a 110 rod crank. They call this the short rod 4mill. I broke a piston skirt at idle but no damage to walls were made except for one very small nick on one of the intake ports. The reason for the failed piston was the need to go up one bore size because of natural wear, yes I rode the shit out of her, but always kept up maintenance. I have 34pjs, one piece intake and crank that I ran with it, which I will include. The crank needs new bearings though. What yall think on the high and low side. Thanks for any replies.
  8. Anyone here heard or had business with them?
  9. Oh.....my bad, must have missread a thread or two, I have a stock cyl 4mill. Ahight, goin cub then. F.A.S.T. here I come. Thanx man
  10. Hit me with some pros and cons on replating my damaged cylinder. I really hate to part with this setup, it ran like a three legged chicken. Thanks in advance and merry Christmas.
  11. Don't overtighten the Allen screws, they will strip easy and don't use any type of brake cleaner, carb or engine cleaner, you won't be happy with that outcome. Other than that I love mine but it was hard to get used to shifting under a load but now I have an override. You will like it.
  12. Thanks yall, that's what I was hoping for, I felt like he was good dude too.
  13. Talked to john at sandtoyz and for 1200 I can get a 421 cub with hdwr and domes. I just don't know of him but he was cool on the phone. What yall think.
  14. Has anyone delt with sandtoys unlimited and are they a sponsor?
  15. Wow, 105 would be sweet. And yes, I will run meth, and I have a 1-4 override m5&6. thinking bout getting a dunable 1-5 m6 from WCR. Gonna run what I got now first and see what happens. I have a lock-up with r6 clutches too. I need to get a better basket cause I have one of those crappy wiesco ones.
  16. Ok, let me rephrase, just wondering if I will like the cub as much as my stk 4mil or will blow me away and be reliable with a drag port from one of the sponsors on here. That's all, thanks. Then I can spend some money.
  17. Ok, blew up my 4mil stk cyl and its gonna take about 700.00 to rebuild. I can puchase a 421 cub with pistons for about 1k and salvage my crank by replacing an outer bearing. Would that be a good idea and if so what HP possibilities would it make with this set up. 36 PWKs, trinity head, CPI oof, v3 reeds, methenol. Any thoughts please. Oh and drag port.
  18. I just might sell my 4mill and get a 10mill. Man that looks bad ass.
  19. Now that's awesome, that's what I need down here in the swamp. Lol I would like to se one in the sand though
  20. Hmmmm...... Tempting. What chassis is that on? My stock frame with +6 swinger may not hold up to that you think?
  21. Yes, that may be an option. I will give yall a call this week. And I am alreadry running blaster pistons with the 4 mill long rod. If I can get away with just replacing and port matching one cly and replacing the bearing on the crank that would be a lot cheaper. I just want to do the right thing and not screw myself in the longrun. The only thing is these cylinders have had the trnsfers welded. That may be a problem.
