Thanks fellas, that's what I'll do, I'll block it up level. Better than ordering another base gasket and trying to stab the pistons by myself again lol that was a bitch.
I don't remember seeing any wear marks in that area, I usually check that area before I install any seal, but that was a few beers ago. I'll find out this weekend.
Oh, and I should be able to pull the bottom case and remove the seal without pulling the jugs right. I read that could the other day but wanted to verify.
No, I put it together, he sold me the cub, port matched case and rebuilt my crank. I'm not positive that I got the seals from him to be honest, but its no big deal. I'm just wondering what brand to go with.
Yup, but that was Damn near 2 months ago and the crank has been in and out of a few cases. Fuck it, I'm tearing it back down next weekend. Too enexpensive of a part to neglect.
I'd probly do the same but this is a brand new cub and a lot of $ invested. Is kick myself in the balls if it shit the bed in a few hours of runtime. I guess I just answered my own ? Might as well tear it back down unless someone chimes in with good news, but I know this is one of those situations were anything could happen.
What are the chances of this seal sealing up once motor is cranked and warmed up or should I say fuck it and tear it down for the third time and put another brand new seal in it.
axle sold
Carrier still available, nothing wrong with it, just has one mark on one of the adjustment holes from a screwdriver. 75.00 shipped + fees. No adjustment tool or brake stay spacer, sorry.
Got a chrome kicker from him and it was in great condition and fast shipping, would not hesitate to do business with him again. Thought I'd share some info. Thanks.
