  1. Here's a lot better deal on your side of the country. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-Yamaha-Banshee-/190610472858?pt=ATVs&hash=item2c6144ff9a
  2. Another great transaction. Bought a very nice wiring harness from him. Thanks.
  3. Met him in person for a cash transaction. Very nice parts at a great price. Thanks.
  4. Sorry, not my pic. I borrowed it off minkys website just to show Josh what the connectors look like. I wouldn't buy one from minky though.
  5. I've got an ignition switch off from an '05. Complete with bracket and 1 key. $20 total shipped price. PM me for paypal info
  6. Yep, 95-96 only. Looks like this.
  7. Take your $20 Harbor Freight digital calipers http://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-digital-caliper-47257.html and measure the swingarm and the inside of the chain slider. Should make the problem obvious. Or call Moose, and ask them WTF.
  8. Very nice!! Sounds like all the right stuff for a fun, reliable ride. Thanks for giving us an update.
  9. After you take off the white plastic roller, there's a stainless sleeve pressed on the swingarm. Maybe that needs to come off.
  10. Cool! Glad to see you're building an 03. It's always nice to have really good brakes.
  11. I wouldn't buy parts from minki, but his website does have a very good listing of descriptions and pictures of the different electrical components. http://www.motorcityatv.com/electronics/
  12. If you have an 03 to 06 Blaster, the Banshee axle is a direct swap. If you have an 02 or older with the cable operated caliper, it is NOT a direct bolt in. There is tons of misinformation around the net from people doing this. The big issue is that the older Blaster has a stationary caliper and a floating disc. The Banshee has a stationary disc and a floating caliper. When it's all over, you have only 2 good choices on the older Blasters. 1) Buy an aftermarket axle made for the Blaster. 2) Use a Banshee axle, banshee disc and hub, 03 to 06 Blaster bearing carrier, and convert it over to hydraulic rear disc brakes, including welding brackets to the frame.
  13. The switch mentioned is for the headlights only. A separate kill switch or tether would need to be wired up for engine kill.

  15. Yes, that's correct. You could also retain the low beams by using a 3 position on-off-on switch. Center position would be off, 1 way would be low beam, the other way would be high beam. If you do that, the center terminal would be your power supply, and low and high beam would be connected to each end terminal. Some on-off-on switches are momentary. Make sure you don't get one of those. I think they are designated on the package as (on)off(on). Actually if you're going to do that, you need a double pole, double throw 6 terminal switch to isolate the tail light.
  16. That's way too nice of a Banshee to take out in the woods and go bouncing off trees with. Even though the very first Banshee won the Baja 1000 with an average speed of something like 70 MPH, if you're paranoid of the J arms, then you need to buy something else.
  17. I looked through my miscellaneous spare parts and I found an A arm that wasn't in too bad of shape. I just dropped it off at the chrome shop, so I don't need an A arm anymore.
  18. Need a right lower chrome stock A arm. Must have good threads and fairly tight ball joint. I already have one with stripped threads and loose ball joint.
  19. Shit, that's a smokin' deal. Any time you see a $300 billet stator cover, you know the guy that built it had money to burn, and definitely spent a bunch of it.
  20. I sold Thomas some billet parts. Great communication. Super fast payment. Thanks for a smooth transaction.
  21. We did a straight across trade on some new Keihin carbs. Communication was great. Everything went perfect. TJ packed the carbs really well. Thanks.
  22. The screw is dished on the end that contacts the ball. The stock screw is too short. If you're set on cutting yours, I would cut the other end and cut a screwdriver slot in it for adjusting.
  23. There are 2 different adjustment screws. One for stock 7 plate and a longer one for 8 plate. You obviously have the longer one and need the shorter one.
