  1. WTF????? You can't pressure test with the plugs out. Vacuum? Bubbles? You really need to read the pressure test section. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110585
  2. Looking for black is gonna seriously limit your options. Here's a damn nice white one. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/2868067446.html
  3. OK, I still don't understand what you're doing or WHERE you have air coming out, but, I can tell you this. The part that's called a labyrinth seal is the round chunk of aluminum in the middle of the crank. It does not actually seal. The steel center shaft of the crank just turns inside the bored aluminum hole. The vacuum/pressure pulses in the bottom end are happening so fast that there isn't a significant amount of transfer from side to side. You can not just pressure test 1 cylinder. The air will leak right through the labyrinth seal and out the open exhaust.
  4. WTF???? Are you trying to pressure test just 1 cylinder? The labyrinth seal is just a block of aluminum with a hole bored in it. OK, there are actually some grooves in the bored hole, but there is no actual seal.
  5. Uh, hate to kill somebody's sale, but 66mm is .080 over
  6. Find something under $3,000 with the following minimum aftermarket parts. +4 or +6 roundhouse swingarm axle pipes paddles, front sand tires, wheels some billet or chrome goodies The following aftermarket items would be ideal if included and make for a sweeter deal. A arms shocks cool head VForce reeds carbs more billet or chrome goodies All these things can be seen. Anything that the motor has done inside, is at the word of the seller and should be considered as a minus, since it was probably done by an idiot. So, if you get $3K of $4K worth of goodies for less than $3K, the Banshee is essentially free. Ride it till it blows or you want more power, and then build the motor the way you want it.
  7. Yep, and you can replace all that with this. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motorcycle-banjo-brake-switch-pressure-KTM-suzuki-light-honda-kawasaki-yamaha-MX-/230743981452?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item35b969bd8c
  8. If you're going to leave the TORS boxes on, at least unplug the electronic box for it under the left front of the gas tank, to disable the TORS. As Builder stated above, "get a stock cross over tube and loose the boost bottle before you a rip a intake and blow your motor up." Doesn't get much more "bad" than that.
  9. Hit up NYUK. He's not far from you and has lots of parts. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showuser=1980
  10. Here is how most of it goes. The hook on the end hooks to the tab on the inside surface of the brake pedal. There is a small tab with a hook on it that goes under the clutch cover bolt by the kicker to kind of stabilize the crooked rod. It will run without the switch, but it's kind of nice to let your buddy behind you know that you're stopping, so he doesn't ass end you and shove you over the cliff you just barely stopped for. The better way to have a brake switch is with a banjo bolt pressure switch. You can buy them on ebay or from rocky mountain atv.
  11. Put it between centers in a lathe. Find the point with the most runout. That's the middle of the bend. Put it in a hydraulic press. Bend it slightly past straight to allow of it to spring back. Recheck it in the lathe. Hopefully the lathe and the press aren't very far apart. You're gonna make a lot of trips back and forth.
  12. I have one of the Modquad flame covers with the window on my flame themed Banshee. I had to grind a notch in my gear slammer shifter. It's not enough to weaken it. I want the Trick Licks cover for my other Banshee that's not flame themed.
  13. Thanks Cameron. Appreciate the info. That explains why I can't find one for sale anywhere. The search is on...
  14. If they do, it's not on their website. The only ones with windows, have flames, and they're not even close to the same.
  15. OK, let me know. Definitely interested. If you don't make a deal, I would still like to find out who made it.
  16. He had the motor for sale. I called and left a message asking if he wanted to sell the stator cover. He never called me back one way or the other. Obviously he didn't give a shit.
  17. Anybody know what brand of stator cover this is? In my opinion, it's one of the best looking ones out there.
  18. Stock carbs measure 28 at the spigot, but taper to 26 at the slide. If only 1 carb has a choke with the hose between the carbs, then they're stock Banshee carbs.
  19. Well, he's the least retarded of all the sellers you've posted up. Even though he's not the brightest bulb in the package, he is making a honest effort at selling. You couldn't build that Banshee for what he's selling it for. It's not a red hot smokin, run to the bank and hit the road deal, but it's priced reasonable for everything that's there. As long as the frame is not tweaked, I don't think you can go wrong with that one.
  20. nobbly tyres LOL. Maybe it's a Quatar thing. I wonder what the trailers like that comes with it. Probably set up for a 50mm ball.
  21. Here you go. Already in Quatar. In your price range. $2,745.93 USD http://www.qatarliving.com/node/1566376
  22. BOTH of those sellers are retards. "shorter rear axle for traction when Coming out.the hole" "99 MPH in 100 ft after the quarter. This bike is geared for quarter mile" "This is my trail bike." The other one----- "banshee is supper fast u will have a hard time findin a faster banshee not for first time banshee riders" Front plastics removed for less wind resistance and better cooling
  23. These days, you can buy a very nice, well built Banshee for $2,500 to $2,700. Even if you got a mint all stock Banshee for FREE, it's still cheaper to buy one already built. For example, the one I just recently bought. Ported, matched cases, welded crank, bored to 64.50, wiseco pistons, cylinders polished, Vforce reeds, billet intakes, 33mm PWKs, K&N pods, polished clutch cover, billet stator cover, foot pegs, shifter, clutch insert, water pump cover, reservoir covers, handlebar clamp, Toomey T5 pipes, Lonestar +4 chrome roundhouse swinger, Lonestar axle, Douglas blue label wheels, scat trac haulers and mohawks, chromed stock A arms, kick starter, and rear brake pedal. $2,500 with a title. And that was asking price. I didn't even try to talk him down. I drove 520 miles, round trip, to pick it up.
  24. Don't buy a metric bolt. A 3/4" bolt has a 1 1/8" head. That's close enough. You should easily be able to buy one locally to you, if you don't have one laying around.
