  1. You need to be a little more specific. There is supposed to be a tube welded to the frame that mounts the rear fender where it curves downward at the front part of the rear fender. If this part has been cut off and the frame powdercoated, I would fabricate an angle bracket off the unused stinger mount that's sort of in front of the silencer. Most people don't bother cutting that off. Bolt it up so you don't have to burn off the powdercoating. The other mount point goes off to the side from the grab bar and is part of the grab bar.
  2. Sooo... Your "builder" can't figure out why it won't run? It's simple. Either the stator he put on it is bad or he didn't adjust the pickup coil gap. With every post, I am having less and less confidence in this "builder". I'll bet he didn't lap the flywheel either.
  3. Here's some pics of a Blaster with a frame color close to the orange pic you posted. In my opinion, orange is a really good looking color that you don't see done everyday. If you highlight it with some custom orange anodized billet pieces, like the KTMs have, that might really make it look unique. On the other hand, 2 different oranges might clash. Try a couple pieces and see what you think. You can always strip the anodizing back off if it doesn't look good. http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/mcy/3433051844.html
  4. The wiring diagram will be slightly different since '02 and newer had a brake light. Everything else will be fine.
  5. I never use anyone else's fuel. I'm just picky that way. I tell my friends, "I'll help you work on your bike, but if you screw up and run straight gas and melt it down, you're on your own."
  6. On the Two Stroke Shop website, they mention running a TZ bearing on both outers and machining the cases for a snap ring on one of the middle crank bearings. When I read that a while back, I thought it sounded pretty cool.
  7. If you're into the carbon fiber look, here's a good deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chariot-CLEARANCE-Thumb-Throttle-Yamha-Banshee-Carbon-Fiber-Decoration-/281039047809?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item416f3b8c81
  8. X2. Metal shavings in the trans from a sheared flywheel key would be the equivalent of getting a girl prego by shooting a load down her throat. However, I would be very skeptical of a build that had metal shavings in the trans after just 1 heat cycle. As far as the flywheel, this "builder" sounds like a real flake if he forgot to tighten the nut. What else did he forget?
  9. The cable adjuster screws into the carb top. Slide the cable through the adjuster till the cable housing seats into the hex shaped part of the adjuster. Slide the rubber boot down the cable and over the adjuster. Attach the spring, slide, and keeper to the end of the cable. It's not rocket science when you have all the parts. Post in the wanted section and if you've been good this year, Santa might ship you a pair of cable adjusters.
  10. Hey, I recognize that printer. I have the box it came in. LOL
  11. Those are the nastiest carbs I have ever seen! You're missing these.
  12. The pin that goes through the shaft prevents the shaft from going through the bearing and out the impeller side. Do not pound on the shaft. Heat or destroy the gear and then buy a billet gear from Mull.
  13. Initially, you mentioned the waterpump gasket. Then later you mentioned that you replaced the seal twice. Just so you're not calling an apple a banana, you did replace the waterpump seal that presses in behind the bearing, right? There is a water side and an oil side to the seal. Also, make sure the white plastic vent elbow is in the top of the case near the rear motor mount. If it's missing, water from splashing through puddles and from washing the bike can get in there.
  14. Everyones just flicking you shit. The stock carb non TORS replacement cable fits 35 PWK carbs. But even if I didn't tell you that, simple logic would confirm that. If the twist cable works for PWK 28-39, and they claim the thumb cable works on PWK 28, then it has to work on all PWKs up to 39. The carbs don't know what you're doing on the other end of the cable.
  15. Assuming you're not running a spacer plate, you got 4 mill domes, right?
  16. I'll bet Cameron is gonna be surprised when 127 toyhaulers show up. LOL

  20. I traded an overide trans and a roundhouse carrier to Mike for a set of Chrome Lonestar A arms. Everything about the transaction went super smooth. Great communication, nice parts, fast shipping and packed very well. A real pleasure to do business with. Thanks.
  21. It would be a pretty amazing stroke of luck if you happen to be in the Seattle area. I just found this when I was searching Seattle Craigslist. http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/mcy/3404187786.html
