  1. Yes, as a matter of fact, that is a 50th anniversary edition Banshee. Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. was founded on July 1, 1955. Staffed by 274 enthusiastic employees, the new motorcycle manufacturer built about 200 units per month. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/corporate/foundinghistory.aspx
  2. Type this line into google search. ↓ Warrior axle site:bansheehq.com
  3. You can buy all the OEM connectors here. http://www.easternbeaver.com/Main/Elec__Products/Connectors/Sealed/sealed.html
  4. I can see it now. Ring, ring Hi this is Ajax carpet cleaning. We clean any room for $19.95 Can you get 2 stroke exhaust smell out of the carpet? Silence..........
  5. Actually, getting a Banshee through a doorway is easier than you think. Remove rear fenders, front fenders if uncut, 1 silencer, wheels, 1 front shock, unscrew 1 tierod completely, disconnect upper A arm from frame on side you pulled shock from and swing A arm rearward and swing suspension upward as far as it will go. Then it's just a matter of putting 1 front side through the doorway, move it over and then the other side, then 1 rear side through, move it over and then the other side rear. The 1 silencer has to come off so you can get the bike over far enough to get the 1st axle side through. I've done it.
  6. Yeah, what he said. ↑ Only the 1st few years of RZ350 had the roller forks. Later years had the solid guide pins. Here's a good thread about ratios. You can swap between the RZ350 and Banshee trans to get the ratios you want. Also, you can put the neutral light contact into the Banshee shift drum. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=466
  7. Here's 1 on ebay. However, I was just thinking, there may be 2 different versions. 87-88 Banshees had 4 short mounting bolts for the carrier. 89 and newer had 2 long bolts. So, the rear bumper may mount in different locations, depending on the carrier style. The seller doesn't have any other Banshee parts for auction, so who knows where he got it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/yamaha-banshee-rear-grab-bar-bumper-/150985347794?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item23276d92d2&vxp=mtr
  8. Good luck. You're gonna need it. So you order pistons 1 size bigger than the current bore. What if the bores don't clean up at that size? Then you end up buying ANOTHER set of pistons. Even if the "local" machine shop does get the bore right, do you trust them to chamfer the ports correctly? As mentioned above, using a site sponser is well worth the time and money. They will usually stock the pistons you need and will stand behind their work and give you advice if you need it on base gasket thickness, squish, dome size, etc.
  9. Just so you guys make sure you get everything, there's 2 caps, 2 seals, and 2 large washers. A total of 6 separate pieces. Just about every bike I have bought has been missing those large washers.
  10. Looks like it's been dropped and the o ring groove at the front of the left cylinder smashed. (Right side top of the 1st pic) Could explain why someone goobered it with Yamabond.
  11. Gnarly!!!!!! What do the tops of the pistons look like?
  12. Something worth mentioning here, is that the LS Ti swingarms use a bearing carrier with a smaller outside diameter than all other swingarms. According to the guy on the phone at LS, they only make that carrier for the 40mm axle.
  13. Tapioca. MMMMMMMM!!!!!! I use it to time my leakdown tests. When the tub is empty, if it's still on 6, I'm good to go.
  14. Ran great, boost bottle, and BOOM, go together like peas and carrots. Check your intakes for cracks.
  15. Some people run loud pipes and have never been checked. Some people have gotten tickets. It's a gamble. The forest service won't even check you if you run these. http://67.199.65.66/cascade_innovations/newlook/store/store_View.cfm?STORE_AREA_ID=3&store_dept_id=12
  16. I see by looking at your other pics that you're running a chromed, lengthened stock swingarm. BTW, good lookin' bike!!!! A stock style carrier has .520" of adjustment. chain pitch is .625". Now that's a crap design. Use a die grinder to lengthen the slot by 3/8" to give you an additional .187" of adjustment for a total adjustment of .707".
  17. Although it makes it a little harder to work on the carbs, I like it because this way you can plug the stator directly into the CDI. No need for a harness in between. So, where did you put the voltage regulator?
  18. Here you are. http://www.ebay.com/itm/KEIHIN-BILLET-STAINLESS-STEEL-IDLE-SCREWS-DRAG-RACING-HILLSHOOTER-BANSHEE-/160955474463?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2579b1a21f&vxp=mtr
  19. Great seller. Prompt communication. Nice parts at a fantastic price. Rob is a great guy to deal with. Thanks.
  20. An air leak. Do a leakdown test before you blow it up again.
  21. Here's a pic of case trenching. It's needed for rod clearance on anything bigger than 4 mil. Here's a pic of bored and trenched cases.
  22. Stock front bumper rubber caps work great for capping the exhaust to do a leakdown test. Perfect size. Throw a hose clamp on it and you're set.
  23. Sure! Think they'll take a 3rd party check from the United Bank of Nigeria? I haven't had time to do my banking lately.
