  1. Throw tin swiss cheese disc guards in the scrap pile. Bolt YFZ450 callipers to Banshee spindles. Bleed brakes. Done.
  2. You can buy then direct from Works, but... Beware, they suck. I ordered a bunch of parts and they charged me for them, but forgot to include some of the parts. I called them and they shipped out the missing parts. When they arrived, the cheap bastards didn't put enough postage on it, so I had to pay my mailman some change to get my parts.
  3. Just bought a handle bar clamp made for the Trail Tech TTO temp gauge. This is an awesome piece. I met Jeff in person. Nice guy. He put a lot of thought into this. From the pics on his ebay auction, I thought the temp gauge mounted on top of the clamp. Actually, it goes in from the back side, so just the face of it shows. Looks and fits very nice. If you run bars with a crossbar, your view of the gauge may be somewhat blocked. If you run a crossbar pad, you probably won't be able to see it at all. I run chrome V bars and it will work great. Although he is a new BHQ member and has no selling feedback on ebay, don't hesitate to buy from him. I'll vouch for him. His BHQ name is Jbuck and here is his ebay auction. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BANSHEE-BLASTER-TEMPERATURE-GAUGE-MOUNT-HANDLE-BAR-CLAMP-/131055088771?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e837df483 I realize that selling a commercial product on BHQ without a sponsorship is a little iffy. I am merely giving him my support for his ebay auction of a very nice product.
  4. I hate to tell you, but that wasn't a very good choice for carbs. But, anyway, do NOT run it like that. It WILL blow the motor up. So, if you're going to run them, you need to find out what is holding up the slide. If you pull up on the cable housing and there is no slack, and the slide raises right away, then you don't have the cable seated in the slide properly. If there is slack in the cable, then try turning the idle speed screw. If that doesn't move the slide, then there's something wrong with the machining of the carb body that's holding up the slide.
  5. Buy a used tranny. It never hurts to have spare gears, forks, drum, etc laying around. While it's apart, cut 3 dogs off all the gears that have 6 dogs, and machine the left end of the shift drum for a ball bearing.
  6. LOL. I hope you included 60 new zip ties inside, for the return trip.
  7. Yep, I've been through this too. If you google search for ups insufficient packaging, you get over 9 million hits. They always claim this in the event of damage. I read one where there was a forklift tire track across the box and they claimed "insufficient packaging".

  10. Yamaha doesn't sell the slide pins separately. There are 2 pins. A fat one and a skinny one. I have used a front fat pin in a rear caliper before in a pinch. It didn't seal the water out properly, but it worked. I don't know about putting a rear fat pin in a front caliper. East Coast ATV sells them for the rear. You might call them and ask about the fronts. http://www.ebay.com/itm/banshee-warrior-350-NEW-rear-caliper-raptor-bracket-mount-blaster-pin-seals-/281194289272?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item41787c5878
  11. Thanks for all the replies. I ended up going full on and bought a pair of Trail Tech Eclipse HIDs. Guess I'll need a little bit bigger battery than I planned.
  12. I don't know why racetech is even still a sponsor here. They're not going to sell any stators here, if all they have is RM crap.
  13. Definitely a good deal. There's far more than $2500 worth of very good aftermarket parts. CPI pipes, Elka shocks, aftermarket A arms, +6 or +8 roundhouse swingarm, aftermarket axle, billet sprocket hub, rear wave brake rotor, after market pegs, blue label wheels, drag cut front wheels, paddles, smooth buffs, Pingle gas tank valve, billet stator cover, lazerstar headlights, billet thumb throttle, billet grips, rear brake reservoir, bumper, grille, grab bar, taillight cover, fat bars, and on and on. Probably more that you can't see in the pics. Would be really nice if it came with a title, but not a deal breaker. I wouldn't even try to haggle them on price.

  16. I agree. Big carbs on a stock unported motor will make it a pig.
  17. BellRay Gear saver and I change it whenever I get around to it.
  18. Thanks, I appreciate it, but like I mentioned, even with the $100 off, that's still $200+ per bike and I'm just not willing to spend that for what little night riding we do.
  19. I'm sure they are kick ass lights, but the 3' ones are $150 each and the 4" ones are $180 each. So, even with $100 off, that's still $200 for the 3" and I still need to strip them and polish them.
  20. I don't know anything about the history of it. Somebody put a lot of work into making that billet alluminum adapter piece. I can only guess that it was made for racing something like the Baja 1000.
  21. Thanks for the reply. They're really nice lights, but they're no where near as cheap now as you got them for. Also, they are only available in black, like everyone elses. That torture test video is impressive.
  22. Here you are. 10 1/2" rotors. It is set up with early Banshee spindles and calipers. Better calipers could certainly be adapted. Let me know if you're interested.
  23. I've got just the brakes for you it's a custom setup that was in a package deal I bought. I'll post pictures later today.
  24. The OP hasn't been on in over a year. I'm sure he either figured it out or sold it.
  25. As long as your bores clean up at 65.25. I always let my builder supply my pistons. That way I always get the correct size and the builder get's to make a little extra profit.
