  1. Just FYI, Yamaha never made a white radiator cover. Would be very nice if they would have so you could run all white OEM plastics.
  2. Part# 22 in this pic. http://www.boats.net/images/diagrams/yamaha/ATV/2005/YFZ350T/IMAGES/CLUTCH.png
  3. Sounds like the ball welded inside the tranny shaft. Buy a Clymer manual and pull the clutch cover. It's possible you may have to split the cases to get the clutch push rod and ball out. Worst case, you may need to replace the trans shaft. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this probably isn't going to be an easy fix.
  4. 100PSI is your problem. Jeez, that's lame. I run my compressor at 180. Takes shit right off. Take your crank to someone that has a real compressor and have them buzz it off for you.
  5. It says $300 on their website. How much did they quote you?
  6. I don't know where everyone gets the idea that stainless is so heavy. Out of curiosity, I used the online calculator, and a 2" diameter, 2' long, 21 lb bar of stainless is only 1/4 to 1/2 lb heavier than chromoly. (Depends on the alloy) I know somebody is going to say that a stainless axle would need to be bigger diameter than a chromoly axle to be strong enough. I call BS. An aftermarket size, stainless axle is still going to be stronger than any aluminum drag axle. As for the original question, stainless and Ti look very similar. Only way I know to tell the difference is to try to run a file across it or weigh it.
  7. You know it's $300 for Racetech to do a high output rewind, right?
  8. If it means the difference between riding and not riding, and it's only a little bit of interference, take a ball peen hammer and pound a dent in the pipes. If it's only a 1/2" deep dent the size of a silver dollar, you're not going to feel a difference in performance. Just make sure you put the dent in the right spot. Maybe grind off the head of the bolt a little bit.
  9. The T3s were made before the A arm bikes came out. There is no way Toomey could have known Yamaha's plans to put a frame tube in that spot. Sell them to someone with a J arm bike. Now you know why the price was right.
  10. Yep, he's serious. LOL. Note that he posted in the wanted section before he asked for advice. Banshee HQ Forums → Swap Shop → Wanted 2into 1 graydon intake Started by Dave1377, Today, 12:30 PM HQ Noob Posted Today, 12:30 PM Hey guys I looking for a graydon intake for my banshee.
  11. Don't need that part with a TORS delete.
  12. Nope, don't need that part. Replacement carb top screws directly onto the carb, with no other plate.
  13. Are you talking about part of the TORS box? Spend the time and money to get rid of that crap. Do a TORS delete with carb tops, cable, and idle speed screws.
  14. But it's still going to have the 2 piece pivot tube with the engine mounted in between? OK, good luck.
  15. This is not going to work. See that big ass cross brace in the Blaster swingarm, right behind the pivot tube? That's exactly where the Banshee shock would need to go. You can't just cut that brace out or the swingarm will have the rigidity of a garden hose on a San Diego lawn in June. Even if you do somehow manage to pull this off, you will have a Blaster that rides like a truck, because the Banshee shock is sprung and valved for a much heavier bike. And you can't just have a suspension shop set up your shock for a Blaster with Banshee suspension.
  16. Any chance they sent you a front hub bearing and seal set?
  17. There is no small bearing. Hoppedupandcutdown explained it the way it goes.
  18. There is no "clip" that holds the brake hub on. The 88-02 Blaster has a floating disc with a fixed caliper. If you put that axle in a Banshee, you end up with a floating disc and a floating caliper. Some people have ran it that way, but it's not right. I would never ride a bike that's set up that way.
  19. Only have it bored as far as it needs to clean up the cylinders. Let the builder determine what size you need.
  20. OK, that's probably doable if you find a good deal on a stock trued and welded crank.
  21. How low of a budget are we talking? $400? $800? $1,000?
