  1. These 2 points are of particular interest to me. you have an almost 80hp stock cyl, that doesn't detonate or back plugs out ..already jetted ...but IPS needs to get in there and set it up different? Why? Just because it's not how THEY choose to do it? Anybody who's been around this game knows there are MANY ways to achieve the same goal. Just because it's a different way than YOU do it, doesn't make it wrong. I've NEVER seen a dune ported stock cylinder need 400mains btw. OF COURSE it'll be down HP with that size main ( idgaf what IPS a/f meter said) if Redline said run 330-350. ..I'm pretty sure he knows what his motors jet out at over someone else. I'm not directing any of this to Frank btw..I'm still of the mindset that someone got between the builder of the motor and Frank ...and fubard the situation.
  2. His steering stems require fit up and welding. The subframes require coping , fitment, and welding together. He plainly explained that to me at time of purchase and I was cool with that since I have a TIG and all the proper tools.
  3. Abe will knock some off of that price if you send him a nekkid picture of a dude.
  4. PM "abe" on here. He has some Vito fat bastards which are made by Shearer and perform almost identically in my experience with them.
  5. I sure don't answer my phone for work on a Sunday. If he's willing to do that,,, I'd say go for it. He's always treated me great. Just be aware that his stuff is more for the "willing to DIY a little" crowd. If you aren't able or willing to do some simple finish fitting, you might want to specify that up front to him.
  6. I always used to have my stock cyls done that way on alky. That way ,if I ever wanted to put it on race gas, the cyls weren't too strung out .
  7. If things haven't cleared up by November, I'll be up by Tulsa then. If someone gives me his new location ( I know where his old one was) I'll stop by and see what's going on. Maybe at least it'll give some customers a little peace of mind knowing the status of their parts. PM me with any info.
  8. Upp works good too. Cascade innovations has them too.
  9. Decreased reed tip area..would not hit. But..would watch someone else.
  10. Tacky foam pods and sand = clogged filters fast.
  11. I don't WANT anything. I'm just saying that the way it's presented comes off as a cock tease at times. Carry on. I don't have time to argue with you. Last post by me. Bash away.
  12. Classy as ever when someone doesn't hang off your every word.
  13. Did I ask for details? Re-read. I'll use this an an example : You've seen those chick's at bars at the club who flirt with guys...but have NO intention of putting out? They're in it simply to SEE if they can get the attention of the guys. ..that's it. See the similarities?
  14. I've read it and understand it. I just find it mildly amusing that a grown man would resort to the whole " I know somethiiiiinng yooouu dooonn't..." style of information discussion. It's nothing personal, I think your a cool guy, but I just find that style of information "discussion" kind of funny.
  15. Same here. A little "play" motor that you don't need every last HP,,,, stock modded cage and boyesons work good.
  16. I don't think Frank is at fault here. I bet that Frank had an issue, and someone who thinks they knew more than the man who built it got involved. ...THAT person is to blame. And I have my own theories as to who it was.
  17. Just out of curiosity, what jets are you running with stock carbs?
  18. Oh really? Jay at IPS? Outerwear filter down to .005"... particulates that small won't "eat up" a motor.
  19. CPI...great for dunes. I might know of a mint set for sale. PM me if interested.
