Very possible. I'm not a fan of any of the aftermarket needles available for stock csrbs. They are all quite a bit longer than stock ones. ...even at their richest setting, they are longer than stock needles at their leanest setting.

Longer needles can make you run lean.

As cast 421 serval is around 75hp. Confirmed on 2 different dynos.

Still a little fat, but a really safe tune. Leaning it out would probably net a few more ponies.

The porting is a touch more "aggressive" than a standard pump gas port. The domes and timing dictate the fuel requirements more than the porting.My dad rides it and I figured a little more grunt would make it an easier ride for him to handle. So I run a little extra timing and 100LL. When I ran it on good premium pump , I backed down the timing some. But I prefer the setup on 100LL for no more than it costs over premium pump.

True.^ but I can run it on GOOD premium pump too.I prefer the 100LL because of the extra lead in it and more cushion as far as anti-deto properties.

I'll tell you this. If your flag doesn't hit the pole, you're not going through. So that's up to you. It's just a 1 time purchase.

They aren't expensive at LS.

If people want to go through the trouble of critiquing someone that much , they should have a field day posting vids of all the guys at LS racing without helmets.

There's very little difference in price especially if you need cyls anyway. ( I don't know how many bores your cyls have left).
