Is this a actual beach are we riding in sand? It sounds cool as hell it looks like about 8 hrs from me. Have you been there are the trail cool not just wide open but technical stuff?

You need a bigger tank I can run a long time with my 5.6 gal tank!

I check mine last night and here is what I got it was slightly ported before. 184 on exhaust 120 on transfers 112 on the boost port above the intakes if I'm correct that would be 32 blowdown from what I have read a 188 exh and 128 transfers with a 30 blow down seems it would be a good all around motor. these are cylinders that are .08 over so I'm going to play with them if I wreck them it won't be the end of the world and I do have access to the right angle tools to do the transfers. Any input would be appreciated

I picked up a set of sand sharks used. There not the best but at the worst spot have about .75 inch of paddle. Can't wait till next Sunday to try them out.

Thanks guys I picked up a set of used gbc sand sharks locally. Not sure were going to silver lake or not yet, I thought there were more trails but from what I have seen mostly just open riding. I will use the tires on the coal hills. If I am wrong about silver lake please correct me I really want to try sand but dont like just flying around 5th and 6th gear. any input would be helpful

I have read another post about the paddle master tire and have seen them in action pretty kick ass!!!! my banshee is not making the power as most of those ( I'm working on that) I want to get paddles to try them but I am concerned about having to much traction and always bogging the motor down. I was looking at cyclone tires or something similar with a v style tread. Will these tires work good and last fairly long?

looking to by a crank and cyls that are dune ported by F.A.S.t it is a 4 mil do they run well for open trails and hill climbing coal hills.

looks like a nice bike! Good luck racing. my freind had a stock yz250f it was great for trails ect the only time it lacked power was long coal hills it would'nt pull a tall enough gear.

What time would we have to be there to get our permit? And do we need to show up Friday ?

Wow I just called the silverlake orv park and he was telling me about dune passes and parking permits. It doesn't sound like I will be allowed on the dunes for sure unless I stand in line at 6am he said??? Kinda scared to drive 12hr and no riding. Yea the coal is hard as hell on tires!!! I saw a guy on coal hills with kenda gecko's they seemed to hook good in the coal at least compared to my mudlites. He said the have alot of trips on them and still looked pretty good. Would that tire be good in sand? The haulers seem expensive to only get to run once I think the coal and rocks would kill them but don't know for sure. I will probably get the +4 swingarm will it still dune ok and trail ok?

No I have never rode paddles no one I know has them. Will I still be able to turn with stock tires up front?

Me and a buddy are going to try to make the 12hr trip to silverlake My quad is setup towards woods/trail riding probably 50 hp +- from what I have read v paddle will turn better but the straight paddle will pull harder on straights. I have extra 9in rims I want to put paddles on I want as much traction as I can get without bogging all the time my mods are in my sig. I don't drag (bikes not that fast) I want to climb hill and ride the trails and dune. Also I will probably get a new swingarm I was thinking either + 2 or 4 what do you think. On the dirt and coal piles we ride it wheelies pretty easy. Thanks I really don't want to drive 12hrs and not be set up anywhere close.

Take a look at it seems to be a fair trade if it's in nice shape.

Which dates is it I'm 12 hrs away have always wanted to run the dunes!!!!!! Are there big hills and trails and whatnot there. Also it would be nice to meet some of you.

Yea if its all new 75lbs is not good something is wrong. I would pull it apart and check it pc by pc maybe wrong pistons or rings? hope you figure it out.
