you guys should tell him how you really fell.. on a side note all the guys I ride with wont use them anymore to many entire day or trips wasted fixing bikes.. hope you got the issues fixed, I would test one for you on the stock motor when I get the wifes bike done but I would not put one on a engine I cared about till they were proven

Yep I had a stock banshee with fmf pipes I put 27.5 pilots and 260 mains in it and it ran good.

they will be good for only drag racing probably.. if I did the math right you should be somewhere around 200/129 on port timing with stock crank, trail riding will most likely suck

Naturally a decked down cly should not hit as hard think of a serval vs a cub.. but the heat will probably be more the issue I would think.. What kinda power do you make now? And how much power do you plan on making with the dm? I bet if your realistic with yourself and say that a good running one just say makes 120hp and your ok with 100-110hp I bet it could be done. You will probably have to give up 10% of power to get what you want.

I wonder if a big wheel crank and better rods "bigger pin" maybe even a longer rod would hold up? Down side is big$$$$ for crank amd cases. Good luck with it.. the builder who built your current motor which you love what does he say about the dm cyl?

Well it sounds like you will be way down on compression then 120lbs is kinda low? People all run 140-160 psi on pump fuel but non run 87 octane good luck
